In what is the first of a sweeping restructuring of his personal and business affairs, Michael has severed ties with his long-time accounts and business managers, Bernstein, Fox, Whitman, Goldman and Sloan, with Bahrani attorneys Qays Zu’bi and Grahame Nelson, and Gut Records executive, Guy Holmes.
He has also established The Michael Jackson Company, Inc., with plans to phase out MJJ Productions. In other related matters, he has named Spokesperson Raymone K. Bain as General Manager, and has retained N.Y.-based L. Londell McMillan and The McMillan Firm, known for business restructurings and turnarounds, to oversee legal matters pertaining to his business affairs. Michael has previously announced plans to record an album which he predicts will be released in 2007. His recent Japan tour was the first in what will be a line of public appearances, and he is reviewing numerous offers to tour musically, which he plans to embark upon within the next several months. Michael, who is currently in Ireland on personal business, plans on relocating to Europe in the near future.He is continuing to build his management team and other appointments will be forthcoming.

Santa Monica, CA…. A jury of 6 women and 6 men turned back F. Marc Schaffel’s claims against Michael Jackson today, that Mr. Jackson owed him countless millions of dollars. In the action, Mr. Schaffel first sought $6 million…$4 million… $3.2million, $2 million, and finally $1.5million. In round 1, the jury awarded Mr. Schaffel $900,000. However, the jury also awarded Mr. Jackson $200,000, plus interest, for Mr. Schaffel’s fraud, conversion and breach of fiduciary duty. Says Tom Mundell, Lead Defense Counsel, “This was a great result for Michael. The judge divided the trial into two phases. In this first phase, the jury heard all of Schaffel’s claims and one of Michael’s claims. In about two weeks, the judge will hear testimony on the rest of Michael’s claims against Schaffel. Michael and Debbie have reached a confidential settlement over their 3 years long dispute regarding Debbie’s visitation rights on Prince & Paris & money compensation.
Michael who is still in Ireland with Grace and the kids has recently met with hip hop producer Ron Feemster & his uncle/manager Charles Stanton to discuss possible collaboaration on his his album. He also asked Teddy Rilley and Will I AM from the Black Eyed Peas to work on new songs for him.

Michael agrees to let US journalist Billy Bush from Access Hollywood visit him at the Grouse Lodge residential recording studios in County Westmeath where he is working on new music with producer Will I AM. Soon after, Michael and the kids move to Coolatore, a large Victorian-style mansion very close to the Grouse Lodge (a 10 minutes walk).
October 16 : In New York City, Katherine gives a déposition in the Prescient case against MJ.
October 21 : Janet arrives in Tokyo for a short promotional stay in Japan.

Miss Aileen goes back to Bahrain to visit her family during the holidays.
December 24 : Eddie “Angel” Cascio arrives in Vegas to spend the Chrstmas and New Year’s eve with Michael and the kids and work on new music with MJ. Michael goes to the FAO Schwarz at the Forum Shop inside Caesars Palace with Eddie for a last minute shopping spree. At night he celebrates Christmas with Prince, Paris, Blanket.
December 25 : On Christmas morning Michael offers a dog to Prince. He names it Kenya. A few days later Katherine visits them.
December 27 : Statement Of Michael Jackson Regarding The Death Of Mr. James Brown : “I am extremely shocked and saddened by the death of my mentor and friend, James Brown. Words cannot adequately express the love and respect that I will always have for Mr. Brown. There has not been, and will never be another like him. He is irreplaceable. December 29 : ITV airs “The One and Only Michael Jackson”, a documentary that was previously cancelled in November 2003 due to the allegations. It features Gladys Knight and La Toya Jackson, narrated by Seb Fontaine.
December 30 : Michael, along with Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson and Raymone attends James Brown’s funerals held at the James Brown arena in Augusta (Georgia) and makes a speech.
