Recent media reports have speculated that Grammy winner Janet Jackson is separating from her husband Wissam Al Mana, but a source close to the couple sets the record straight.

The source tells Entertainment Tonight of Jackson and Mana’s relationship, “The rumors about their marriage are a lie. They are very happy and very much together. In fact, the couple has recently purchased an even larger home in New York.”

Janet, Randy and Rebbie Jackson say the executors of Michael Jackson’s will are causing harm by damaging “fundamental family relationships” and isolating matriarch Katherine Jackson “from anyone questioning the validity of Michael’s will.” The Jackson siblings released a statement late Friday through an attorney amid a fight over their brother’s will with the executors of his estate. On Thursday a judge named TJ Jackson, a cousin to Michael Jackson’s three children, as co-guardian with Katherine Jackson, who was named their sole caretaker in the disputed will. Janet, Randy and Rebbie Jackson accuse the executors of a “relentless” negative media campaign and say they have been barred from visiting their 82-year-old mother or Jackson’s children. “The effect of that notice not only is to damage fundamental family relationships, it is also to isolate Katherine Jackson from anyone questioning the validity of Michael’s will,” reads the statement by Janet Jackson’s attorney, Blair G. Brown, released on behalf of Janet, Randy and Rebbie Jackson. They say they will continue to contest Michael Jackson’s will because “the executors have never explained how Michael could have signed his will in California on a date that irrefutable evidence establishes that he was in New York.”

Representatives for the executors of the will did not immediately respond to calls and emails requesting comment. However, representatives for executors John Branca and John McClain released a statement some weeks ago saying, “Any doubts about the validity of Michael’s will and his selection of Executors were thoroughly and completely debunked two years ago when a challenge was rejected by the Los Angeles County Superior Court, the California Court of Appeals and, finally, the California Supreme Court.” Janet, Randy and Rebbie Jackson say they will continue to contest Michael Jackson’s will, adding, “they stand nothing to gain financially by a finding that the will is invalid.” “The individuals who have the most to lose by a finding that the will is invalid are, of course, the executors and those on the executors’ payroll.” The siblings say they will “press forward in their search for the truth in order to carry out the wishes of their brother Michael.”

Michael Jackson’s mother Katherine has been re-instated as guardian of his three children by a court in Los Angeles. She will share custody with their cousin TJ, who was made temporary guardian last week after the 82-year-old was reported missing. A hearing on 22 August will decide if the arrangement will be made permanent. Tito Jackson Jr, the 34-year-old son of Michael’s brother Tito, stepped in as guardian for Prince Michael, 15, Paris, 14 and 10 year-old Blanket. However, his lawyer Charles Shultz said he “in no way was trying to displace his grandmother” as “they respect each other”. Under the new agreement, TJ Jackson remains as co-guardian, with control over the staff and day-to-day operations of the family home. Perry Sanders Jr, Katherine Jackson’s lawyer, has said the arrangement will allow his client to focus on the children’s upbringing and not on financial or logistics issues. The co-guardianship arrangement would also allow either adult to serve as sole guardian if the other were no longer able to serve

Joe Jackson — the music manager and father of 11, has been hospitalized with terminal cancer, TMZ reports.

The 89-year-old Jackson family patriarch has been battling the illness “for some time,” the outlet says, but is “at the end stages” and “the cancer cannot be treated.”

Family, including wife Katherine, has been at his bedside, sources tell TMZ. Jackson’s children and grandchildren have also made visits.

On Wednesday, son Jermaine told the Daily Mail, “He’s very, very frail, he doesn’t have long. The family needs to be by his bedside – that’s our only intention in his final days.”

Janet is presented with the inaugural impact award during the Radio Disney Music Awards at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.

The ceremony airs the following night on Radio Disney and Disney Channel.

The Jackson family matriarch says she tried to fire her nephew and order him to move out of her guest house, but he has refused. A judge granted Jackson’s request for a restraining order and ordered her nephew to move out of her home and return all keys, passwords and combinations to the property.

Paris Jackson, the only daughter of music icon Michael Jackson, has separated from her boyfriend, Michael Snoddy.

Jackson, 18, recently chose to end the relationship after less than a year, a source confirms to PEOPLE.

But, as can be the case with young love, the source cautions that “circumstances could change” and the couple could reunite.

April 25 : Janet attends Bruno Mars’ concert in Birmingham with brother Randy.

Katherine files a request to dismiss the case against Trent without prejudice, however, L.A. County Superior Court Judge Rolf Michael Treu grants the dismissal with prejudice, preventing her from filing the restraining order again with the same evidence and allegations in the future. The judge does note that future conduct can be litigated.

Katherine’s new lawyers, Nelson J. Handy and Vatche Zetjian, explained that Katherine didn’t understand the extent of the action brought about by the case when she initially filed the temporary restraining order request in February, and said that she was not prepared for a trial, or having to testify in court.

The documentary, co-produced by Workerbee and Associated Entertainment Corporation, promises to offer unprecedented access to the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer’s life, and an intimate, honest and unfiltered look at the untold story of one of the highest-earning artists in music history.

Filming on “JANET” has been under way for three years. The doc follows Janet as her family is going through the loss of her father, Joseph, the patriarch of the Jackson dynasty who passed in 2018. Producers were granted exclusive access to archival footage and never-before-seen home videos while developing the documentary for the past three years. “JANET” will also detail the most talked-about moments of her life, including her 2004 Super Bowl appearance with Justin Timberlake in which she inadvertently exposed a portion of her breast, sparking controversy that would hover for more than a decade. The docu will also explore Jackson’s reaction to the death of her brother, the legendary and also controversial Michael Jackson, and her process of becoming a mother “JANET” is targeted for debut in early 2022 on Lifetime and A&E. The docu is executive produced by Janet Jackson and Randy Jackson. Executive producer for Workerbee is Rick Murray and Brie Miranda Bryant serves as executive producer for A+E Networks. Ben Hirsch is directing.

June 24 : Latoya’s debut album titled “LaToya Jackson” is released by by Polydor. Janet is one of seven people credited with providing handclaps on LaToya’s track “If You Feel The Funk”. She also co-writes the song “Lovely Is She” with LaToya.

September 3 : In recognition of their contribution to music , The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce honour The Jacksons with a Star on Hollywood Boulevard’s “Walk Of Fame”. Michael, Jackie, Tito, Marlon and Randy attend the presentation with Joe & Katherine, Rebbie, LaToya, Janet and Joe’s mother Crystal Jackson. Michael is also presented a special plaque in “recognition of 4 Top ten singles from the album Off The Wall”. Later the Jackson family has dinner at Chasen’s restaurant in West Hollywood.

October 16 : Katherine, Randy & Janet attack Gina Sprague, Joe’s personal assistant at Joe Jackson Productions.

November : Janet joins the cast of  “Diff’rent Strokes” sitcom on NBC. She plays the character of Charlene DuPrey, Willy’s girlfriend.

November 8 : Janet gives an interview to Don Cornelius on the Soul Train Show.

December 31 : “Diff’rent Strokes” ‘s first episode with Janet tirled “first love” airs on NBC.
