In a recent interview of french magazine Mademoizelle Janet reveals that the production part of her upcoming tour is already complete.

A new official fan club has been created for Janet at www.janetfanclub.com.
The website states that members of the club will receive early access to tickets for the Rock Witchu Tour. The Tour Club, as it is called, apparently was created solely for this purpose.

Via satellite, Janet accepts the Always Next, Forever Now Award for being a friend to the LGBT community at  Logo NewNowNext Awards.
The show will air on Logo on Saturday, June 7 at 9:00 PM ET.

May 20 : Entertainment news show Extra has filmed a new interview with Janet that will air sometime next week

February 27 : Janet has signed on to star opposite Tyler Perry in his next film, “Why Did I Get Married,” based on the filmmaker’s stage play of the same name according to Varierty.com. Perry  is writing, directing and producing the film for Lions Gate The film is set to being shooting on March 5 in Whistler, British Columbia; Vancouver; and then Atlanta. Sharon Leal (“Dreamgirls”) and Jill Scott have also joined the cast.

March : Janet was recently spotted in Whistler, British Columbia, shooting a scene of the new movie “Why Did I Get Married?,” according to today’s edition of Vancouver’s 24 Hours The newspaper reports that she was also seen on set with cast and crew filming a snowmobile scene in nearby Pemberton.The remainder of the film is being shot in Atlanta.

January 16 : Michael arrives 20 minutes late at the Santa Maria Courthouse where he is formally arraigned. He pleads not guilty to all the charges and judge Rodney Melville imposes a gag order preventing both sides from making public comments about the current case.

“Ask for More” is released as a promotional single by Janet Jackson for Pepsi.

The campaign is launched as a re-branding for Pepsi internationally.

Alternate versions of the campaign also co-stars Hong Kong singer Aaron Kwok for the Asian market and aired in China, and Latino singer Ricky Martin for the Latin market and aired in Latin America.

duet version of the song performed in Spanish by Jackson and Martin was also aired in Europe as part of the commercial campaign.

A full length promotional music video of the version with Kwok was released in Asian markets. The original version of the ad features model and dancer Rob Vinson. Dancers Tina Landon and Shawnette Heard appear in all versions of the ad along with Janet.
