February 12 : Janet attends the Presidential Innauguration Party for JD with Jackie & Siggy Jackson among others and then they attend the Clive Davis Pre-Grammy Party at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles . Jimmy Jam reveals that they have begun production on Janet’s new album.

March 10 (Day 9) : Michael arrives one hour late and dressed with pajamas with Katherine, Joe, Jermaine & Tito because a terrible back-ache took him to the emergency room of the hospital. The same day, Janet is recording the song “Enjoy” for her upcoming project.

May 16 : Janet and JD attend the 22nd Annual ASCAP Pop Music Awards at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills . Later, JD hosts a party for Janet’s 39th birthday.
Late May : Janet shoots a cameo appearance for JD’s video “Gotta Getcha” choreographed by Gil Duldulao.
June 3 (Day 67) : Michael goes to court with Katherine, Joe, Janet and LaToya. Tom Mesereau completes his closing arguments.
June 3-13 : While Jury deliberations take place, the whole Jackson family waits for the verdict at Neverland.
June 13 : The Jury reaches a verdict. Michael and the Jackson family goes to court where he is acquitted on all counts! They go back to Neverland. The trial is over. Family and friends gather at Neverland to celebrate but Michael is too tired and he goes to sleep early.
June 18 : Janet & JD attend the annual gala of The Human Rights Campaign, a national gay rights organization at the Beverly Hilton where Janet is honored with a Humanitarian Award for her generosity in civil rights and charitable causes, as well as her support for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender equality.
June 27 : Janet & JD attend the 18th Annual ASCAP Rhythm & Soul Music Awards at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles where JD is awarded with the Songwriter of the Year award and Janet presents an award to Lewis & Jam.

July 25 : Birth of London Blue Salas, first son of Stacee Brown & Rex Salas and first grandson of Rebbie & Nathaniel.

September 24 : Janet & JD attend the TAO’s Nightclub Grand Opening in Las Vegas with Nelly among others.
October 1 : Janet hosts a pre-party for the Andre Agassi Charitable Foundation’s 10th Annual “Grand Slam for Children” Fundraiser at the Las Vegas nightclub Pure.
October 26 : In a statement released today, Janet denies a former brother-in-law’s claim that she has a “secret” 18-year-old daughter.
November 23 : Janet & JD attend Tito Jackson’s concert at B.B. King’s. 1000 Universal Center Dr. Universal City, CA with Katherine, Latoya, Rebbie, 3T and many other members of the Jackson family.
