9. Marriages
No completed major wedding has been reliably established within the September 16, 2024–September 12, 2025 season boundaries.
The season does, however, feature important engagements and wedding preparations.
- Ridge Forrester and Taylor Hayes: Their renewed romance leads to an engagement and plans to marry, but the relationship ultimately collapses.
- Ridge Forrester and Brooke Logan: Their reconciliation leads to a renewed commitment and engagement in September 2025.
The September 10, 2025 episode explicitly establishes Brooke and Ridge’s engagement. The subsequent wedding-related developments belong to the next season and should not be included as Season 38 marriages. Originals for Paramount+
10. Deaths

11. Y&R / B&B Crossovers
‘Y&R’ Stars Tracey Bregman & Kate Linder Cross Over to ‘Bold and the Beautiful’ for Fashion Showdown
Y&R → B&B
B&B → Y&R
Y&R characters appearing in B&B
No confirmed crossover appearance by a current The Young and the Restless character has been identified during Season 38.
Although Lauren Fenmore, Danny Romalotti and Christine Blair have appeared in B&B in previous years, their earlier appearances should not be included in the 2024–2025 season chronology.
B&B characters appearing in Y&R
Sally Spectra — portrayed by Courtney Hope
Sally remains a regular character on The Young and the Restless throughout this period. Originally introduced in B&B in 2017, she transferred to Y&R in 2020.
Her continuing presence in Genoa City is not a new crossover event, and therefore no Season 38 crossover date applies.
A January 2026 review of possible future crossovers also notes that the two series did not stage a crossover in 2025. Soap Hub
12. Season 38 highlights
Season 38 is particularly notable for the return of Taylor Hayes as a major romantic rival to Brooke, the takeover of Forrester Creations, the emergence of a younger generation led by Will and Electra, and Luna’s transformation into one of the show’s most dangerous villains.
The season also addresses contemporary subjects such as deepfake pornography and medical deception, while maintaining the show’s traditional emphasis on fashion, family rivalries and complicated romantic relationships.

Research limitation: The official online archive currently exposes only part of the season’s episodes, and CBS’s cast page does not preserve a complete historical roster for each broadcast date. Consequently, the cast list above is a substantial working inventory rather than a certified complete list of all credited performers, especially child actors, one-day guests and extras.
