September 2009–September 2010 · U.S. broadcasts
This guide follows your September-to-September format, covering September 8, 2009, through September 3, 2010. Dates refer to the original U.S. broadcasts, rather than the Canadian broadcasts, which sometimes aired earlier.
1. Number of episodes
| First original episode | Last original episode | Total |
|---|---|---|
| September 8, 2009 — #9227 | September 3, 2010 — #9478 | 252 episodes |
The total is calculated from the continuous episode numbers: 9478 − 9227 + 1 = 252. Although some databases list September 7 as the season’s opening date, CBS preempted its daytime lineup that day for the U.S. Open. The first original episode in this September block therefore aired on September 8. TheTVDB’s apparent total of 113 episodes reflects an incomplete listing. TVmaze
