1978 : Destiny era

All the studio recordings (songs, demos and alternate versions) recorded by MJ during the Destiny era (1978). Songs and poems written but never recorded, live performances, covers and remixes by other artists are not included.

All Night Dancin‘ : Recorded in 1978 and released on December 17, 1978 (Destiny).

Be A Pepper : In December 1978, The Jacksons signed a contract with Dr Pepper. They recorded “Be A Pepper”, a one minute version of “Blame It On The Boogie” with lyrics about the Dr Pepper drink. The song was used for radio and TV commercials in 1979 and eventually released on 1995 (25 Years of Dr Pepper Music).

Shake A Body (demo version of Shake Your Body) : Recorded in 1978 at the Hayvenhurst home studio. Released on November 16, 2004 (The Ultimate Collection Box Set).

Shake Your Body (Down to the Ground) : Recorded in 1978 and released on December 17, 1978 (Destiny).

That Girl : Recorded with The Jacksons in 1978-1980. Remains unreleased.

That’s What You Get (For Being Polite) : Recorded in 1978 and released on December 17, 1978 (Destiny).

Things I Do for You : Recorded in 1978 and released on December 17, 1978 (Destiny).
