April 15 : Alejandra, Genevieve, Randy Jr, Jaafar & Jermajesty visit Katherine at Rebbie’s house.
April 17 : Several medias report that Katherine recently suffered a stroke and was hospitalized but Johvonnie says on Facebook that Rebbie denies those reports and that Katherine is “absolutely fine”.
May 20 : Live from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Janet walks the red carpet of the Billboard Music Awards with her team (Joey, Preston, Janet & Robert). She performs a medley of Nasty/If/Throb with 40 dancers and then Bruno Mars presents her with the Icon Award. Katherine, Rebbie, Austin & Yashi are her guests and sit front row.
June 19 : Katherine, Rebbie, Yashi & JohVonnie visit Joe in Las Vegas.
June 24 : Many members of the Jackson family go to Las Vegas (including Paris) to spend time with Joe at the hospital.
June 27 : Joe Jackson passes away in a Las Vegas hospice surrounded by family.
The Jackson family gathers to mourn him and prepare for the funerals.
July 01 : Toyia Jackson and Thayana Sco Jackson host their Baby Shower since they are both expecting at the same time.
July 2 : Many members of the Jackson family attended a private service for Joe Jackson held at Forest Lawn in Glendale, CA. Among others : Katherine, Rebbie, Austin, Janet (with her son Eissa), LaToya, Jackie (with children and grandchildren), Marlon, Tito (with children and grandchildren), Randy, Jermaine Jr (with wife Asa), Joh’Vonnie (with daughter Yasmine), Paris & Bigi, Stevie Wonder & Johnny Gill.
Prior to the service some family members gathered at Hayvenhurst, the family home since 1971. After the service they had lunch at the Langham Huntington Hotel in Pasadena.
August 2 : Brittny Jackson Sanchez gives birth to Scout Britnny Sanchez, her 4th child.
August 11 : Austin, Yashi & Paris perform during the Canyon Sessions. Katherine, Rebbie, Taj & Omer attend the show.
August 24 : The Jacksons perform a concert at the Pechanga Resort & Casino in Temecula, California. Many family members attend the show including Rebbie, Jermaine Jr & his wife, Jaafar & Jermajesty.
August 25 : Toyia Jackson gives birth to a baby girl named Skyy Okhi Enid Jackson, it’s her third child with Siggy Jackson.
October 14 : Katherine, Rebbie, LaToya, Jackie, Brandi, Siggy and many other family members attend Thayana’s baby shower.
November 18 : Jackson Family Day at Rebbie’s house for pre Thanksgiving with Katherine, LaToya, Rebbie, Siggy, Toyia and their kids, Joudynn, Marike and their baby daughter, Jay, Asa & Soltan etc.
November 21 : Thayana gives birth to a baby daughter named Taylor Aurora Sco Jackson.
