All In Your Name : Recorded in December 2002 & released posthumously in 2011.

Hot Fun In The Summertime (demo) : Michael Prince : Neff-U had originally worked with Michael, Brad Buxer and I long before 2008,” continued Prince. “He originally came to Brad’s house years earlier and worked on some stuff that never came out, like ‘Hot Fun In The Summertime’ – the 1969 Sly Stone song. I think MJ only sang a tiny bit on that one, but they were trying a bunch of stuff. Neff-U is very talented.”. A remixed version feauturing Jesse Johnson, D’Angelo & Mary J Blige was recorded in 2014. Both the demo and the remix remain unreleased.

I Am A Looser : Demo recorded in January 2003. Leaked in September 2013 but remains unreleased.

Michael’s Affirmation : Damien Shields : “Michael’s Affirmation isn’t a song. It’s a spoken word piece recorded by MJ to encourage Roy Horn (of Siegfried & Roy) to stay positive when recovering from the onstage tiger attack in October 2003. The music behind MJ’s spoken words is an instrumental called “Photographs”. Remains unreleased.

Children’s Hour : Damien Shields : “is a children’s song”. Remains unreleased.

Silent spring : Damien Shields : “is an instrumental”. Remains unreleased.

Green Hornet Groove : Damien Shields : “is something Brad Buxer worked on. Instrumental. My notes say it was composed to be pitched for use in the Seth Rogan film The Green Hornet, but it ultimately wasn’t used”. Remains unreleased.

Don’t Make Me Stay : Damien Shields : “Based on what I heard: Don’t Make Me Stay had a scratch vocal, but it sounded very distant – like MJ wasn’t near the mic when it was recorded or something. The only coherent lyrics I could make out were the words “don’t make me stay”. Remains unreleased.

Days In Gloucestershire  : Demo recorded in 2004 (at Neverland) with Brad Buxer and reworked in 2008. It leaked in March 2014 but remains unreleased.

Adore You : Demo recorded in 2004 (at Neverland) with Brad Buxer. . Damien Shields : “I heard a version of Adore You which had some background vocals which build into a full-blown choir type of thing at the end. It’s haunting. Sounds very cool. But not a single lyric or lead vocal on the version I heard”. Remains unreleased.

From The Bottom Of My Heart : Recorded in 2005/2006. Damien Shields : “Bottom Of My Heart is a totally separate song. The version I heard was an instrumental, and I was told by someone who worked on the music that MJ never got around to recording it. But it was on MJ’s list of songs he wanted to keep working on”. Remains unreleased.

I Have This Dream (2nd demo) : Written by Michael Jackson, David Foster and Carol Bayer Sager in 1999 during the Invincible sessions. MJ worked on the song with John Barnes at Neverland in 2004. and The song became a charity single after Hurricane Katrina in August 2005 and was co-written with Abdullah bin Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the second son of Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the king of Bahrain. Singers James Ingram, Ciara, Snoop Dogg, the O’Jays, R Kelly and Shirley Caesar recorded vocals in Los Angeles. In October 2005, Michael recorded parts with a orchestra in Metropolis Studios in Chiswick, London, but never completed his vocals and did not attend further sessions. John Barnes came to Bahrain in 2005/2006 to work on the song. Abdulla said he had spent $2.2m on “I Have This Dream” and cited it, among other songs, in his lawsuit against Jackson in 2008; the parties settled out of court. Played during a court deposition in London in 2008. Remains unreleased.

Bomb Detonation : Written by Michael Jackson, Sheik Abdullah of Bahrain. Written during his stay in Bahrain in 2005 and 2006 for the shelved album promised to be released in late 2007 by 2seas. Rough vocal demo known to exist. Remains unreleased.

He Who Makes The Sky Grey : Written by Jermaine Jackson, Sheik Abdullah of Bahrain. MJ recorded vocals during his stay in Bahrain in 2005-2005 but the song was never completed. Remains unreleased.

Light the Way : Written by Michael Jackson, Sheik Abdullah of Bahrain. MJ recorded vocals during his stay in Bahrain in 2005-2005 but the song was never completed. Damien Shields : “I haven’t heard a song with the title “Pray For Peace,” but I heard Light The Way, and the words sung by the choir in the hook of Light The Way include: “let’s pray, pray for peace”… But I don’t know if they’re the same song, connected, or completely different/unrelated songs”. Remains unreleased.

I’ma Miss You : Written by Michael Jackson, will.i.am. Worked on in 2007. Damien Shields : “about James Brown”.Remains unreleased.

I’m Dreaming : Written by Michael Jackson, will.i.am. Recorded in 2006 – 2007. Damien Shields : “is a flip/redo of “I Can’t Wake Up (I’m a Blunt)” with MJ singing a re-written version of the hook: “I’m dreaming about being in love…”. Remains unreleased.

I’m Still the King : Written by Michael Jackson, will.i.am. Recorded in 2006 – 2007. Also known as “The King” and “Still The King”. Intended to feature artists influenced by Jackson like Usher and Ne-Yo. The song is not finished. Remains unreleased.

The Future : Written by Michael Jackson, will.i.am. Worked in 2006/07. On the 13th of August 2007, will.i.am told reporters at a Black Eyed Peas press conference in South Korea that another track he recorded with Jackson is titled “The Future”. Song about environmental issues. A dance track. Remains unreleased.

Hold My Hand (duet with Akon)  : Demo recorded in December 2007 (at Studio X at the Palms Hotel in Las Vegas) & leaked in June 2008. New remix released posthumously in 2010 (Michael). Original demo remains unreleased.

Wanna Be Startin Somethin (2008) : Remix by Akon featuring new vocals by MJ recorded in late 2007 and released in 2008 (Thriller 25 Special Edition).

Red Eye : Written by Michael Jackson. Mentioned by MJ during the 1993 Mexico Deposition. Reworked in 2008 with Neff U. Found in 2009 on one of his lists in his bedroom where he wrote songs that he wants to finish. Remains unreleased.

I Was A Looser : New version of “I Am A Looser” recorded late 2008 in Michael’s Bel Air Hotel suite. Short snippet leaked online but full demo remains unreleased. Listed as “The Loser” on a handwritten note in Michael’s bedroom, discovered shortly after his passing.

H2O aka Dark Lady : Damien Shields : “same song. Excellent demo from 2008. One of the rare tracks with a FULL scratch vocal. MJ sings the vocal melody in one continuous take. No stops or breaks. There are barely any sensical lyrics in the entire song, but the vocal melody is very fleshed out”. Remains unreleased.

D.I.E : Written by Michael Jackson, Michael Prince, Theron Feemster III (Neff-U). Found in 2009 on one of his lists in his bedroom where he wrote songs that he wants to finish. Worked between 2008 and 2009. Two versions of the song were registered with the United States Copyright Office (On the first Michael Prince is not credited). Some sources are stating that “D.I.E” states for “Dance Is Entertainment”, but this is not confirmed. Remains unreleased.

Lady of Summer : Damien Shields : “is one of the pieces MJ showed to classical composer David Michael Frank in 2009 shortly before he died”. Remains unreleased.

King Tutankhamen : Damien Shields :” I heard was an instrumental track from 2008. No vocals on what I heard”. Remains unreleased.

Best Of Joy (2008 demo) : New version of “The Toy” written by Michael Jackson and recorded in 1981 for a Richard Pryor movie. In April 1991, Michael recorded new vocals for the track, including a new opening lyric. The original lyric, “I am your toy, I am your boy,” was changed to: “I am your joy, your best of joy”. In November 2008, Michael recorded new vocals for the track in the bathroom of his suite at the Bel-Air Hotel in LA, including a never-heard alternate option for a third verse. New lyrics include: “I am the rock that stands on solid ground, I am that friend always around. After Michael died, “Best of Joy” was remixed Ron “Neff-U” Feemster for the ‘Michael’ album in 2010. The vocals that appear on Neff-U’s remix are those recorded at the Bel-Air Hotel in November 2008. Original demos from 1981, 1991 and 2008 remain unreleased.

Remember What I Told You : Damien Shields : “has vocals. Starts off acapella and builds into an epic finale with many layers of MJ’s voice. Recorded at MJ’s house in Vegas in 2008. Very rough demo with lovely vocals”. Remains unreleased.

Water : Written by Michael Jackson, Michael Prince, Theron Feemster III (Neff-U). Apparently recorded in early 2009 at the Carolwood house. The production is complex, with water droplets and a “Stranger in Moscow” aesthetic. Only the chorus was recorded (which MJ sang a snippet of in “This Is It”), but people have described it as “amazing” and “magical”. Damien Shields : “Recorded in MJ’s final years. Production includes water splash sounds. Only lyrics: “Inches of water, water, trying to take a piece of my mind/Inches of water, water, trying to take a piece of my time.” Very nice background vocals: “Inches of water, ooo-ooo-ooo-ooo.” Remains unreleased.

Change : Demo written by Steve Porcaro in 2009. Remains unreleased.

Unknown* : On May 22, 2009, fans heard Michael recording a new song from a building in the back of his Holmby Hills home. Michael tells them he is working on the lyrics and has not chosen the title yet. Remains unreleased.

Rebbie : 2009

May 14 : Rebbie attends Katherine & Joe 60th wedding anniversary at an Indian restaurant in Beverly Hills with the whole family (Jackie, LaToya, Tito, Jermaine, Janet, Marlon, Michael and their children). Randy is the only one not attending. This is the last time Michael sees most of his family.

June 25 : Rebbie learns from Katherine the tragic news that Michael has just died from cardiac arrest. Rebbie goes to UCLA Medical Center where she gets to see Michael’s body. Prince, Paris and Blanket are taken to Hayvenhurst with Katherine, LaToya, Austin, Jermaine, Halima, Randy & Tito join them. At night Rebbie goes to Michael’s Carolwood home with LaToya, Jeffré Phillips, Ron Boud, Katherine, Trent. Janet joins them.

Rebbie moves to Hayvenhurst for the summer to support Katherine.

July 06 : The Jackson family has a private open coffin viewing of Michael’s body at Forest Lawn cemetary with Karen Faye and Michael Bush’ s help to make Michael look beautiful for eternity.

July 07 : The whole Jackson family and friends attend a private memorial early in the morning at Forest Lawn cemetary. Then they go to the public memorial at the Staples Center in downtown L.A. The tribute show is aired live all around the world. At the end, the Jackson family and all the artist perform “We Are The World” and “Heal The World” with Prince, Paris and Blanket. Paris ends the tribute with a moving speech calling Michael “the best daddy you could ever imagine” before breaking in Janet’s arms. Following the memorial at Staples, the family has a lunch reception at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel ballroom with a couple hundred of their nearest and dearest friends.

August 3 : Katherine goes to the Los Angeles Superior Court with Rebbie, LaToya and Randy where the judge names her permanent guardian of Prince, Paris & Blanket.The Judge also grants visitation rights for Debbie Rowe as well as spousal support based on the agreement she struck with Michael several years ago.

September 03 : Michael is finally buried in The Great Mausoleum at Glendale Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, CA. The service is attended by approximately 200 family and close friends. The pallbearers are Michael’s five brothers : Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon and Randy Jackson. At the beginning of the ceremony, Prince, Paris & Blanket put a crown on their father’s coffin to signify the final resting place of the King of Pop. The opening prayer is delivered by Pastor Lucius Smith. Gladys Knight sings the gospel hymn “His Eye Is on the Sparrow,” accompanied by Greg Phillinganes. Songwriter Clifton Davis sings The Jackson 5 song “Never Can Say Goodbye,” Following the funerals the family and the guests go to Villa Sorriso Ristorante — an Italian restaurant in Pasadena.

October 27 : Katherine, Rebbie, Latoya, Randy & Janet decline an invitation to the “This Is It” premiere in L.A.

November 24 : The whole family gathers at Hayvenhurst to have pre-Thanksgiving dinner with Prince, Paris & Blanket.

Rebbie : 2008

February 20 : Birth of Bryce Connor Jackson, first child of Taryll & Breana Cabral.

March 20 : Birth of Delores “Dee Dee” Dior Jackson, daughter of TJ & Frances.

September 4 : Janet presents Tito, Jackie, Marlon and Randy with the lifetime achievement BMI Icon Award in Beverly Hills. Following the acceptance of the icon award, the Jackson brothers posed on stage for photos with father Joseph, mother Katherine and sisters Janet, LaToya and Rebbie. Michael and Jermaine do not attend the presentation.

Rebbie : 2007

February 17 : Janet, Rebbie, Jermaine, Marlon, Randy, Jackie & Leonard Rowe visit Michael at his Las Vegas home and ask him to reunite with The Jacksons and tour America but he says he is not ready yet.

May 11 : Rebbie, LaToya and Katherine attend the grand opening of The Cove Atlantis on Paradise Island. Janet performs “Rhythm Nation”, “What Have You Done For Me Lately”, “Nasty”, “That’s The Way Love Goes” & “All for You” and the show closed-s with a never-before-seen fireworks display by Grucci that lit up the 171 acre reso night.

July 7 : Rebbie attends TJ’s wedding to Frances Casey. Michael does not attend the ceremony.

December 22 : 18 month after leaving the US, Michael and the kids arrive in Las Vegas on a private plane from Dublin (Ireland) and they are taken by their new bodyguard Bill Whitfield to a rented house in 2785 South Monte Cristo Way.

June 3-13 : While Jury deliberations take place, the whole Jackson family waits for the verdict at Neverland.

June 13 : The Jury reaches a verdict. Michael and the Jackson family goes to court where he is acquitted on all counts! They go back to Neverland. The trial is over. Family and friends gather at Neverland to celebrate but Michael is too tired and he goes to sleep early.

July 25 : Birth of London Blue Salas, first son of Stacee Brown & Rex Salas. First grandson of Rebbie & Nathaniel.

November 23 : Janet & JD attend Tito Jackson’s concert at B.B. King’s. 1000 Universal Center Dr. Universal City, CA  with Katherine, Latoya, Rebbie, 3T and many other members of the Jackson family.

March 20 : Janet & JD attend the Soul Train Awards  where she is presented with the Quincy Jones Award for outstanding career achievement. Following the ceremony, Janet & JD  attend a CD release party titled “A Night With Janet Damita Jo Jackson” at Morton’s in West Hollywood with Jermaine, Jackie & Rebbie Jackson, Jimmy Jam.

June 25 : Katherine hosts the graduation party of Austin Brown at Hayvenhurt with Janet, Rebbie, LaToya, Jackie & Tito among others. Michael, who is in Miami calls Austin to congratulate him.

November : Alejandra files for divorce and Jermaines gets married for the third time to his new girlfriend Halima Rashid. Alejandra and her children remain at Hayvenhurst with Katherine.

Rebbie : 2003

April 24 : Michael Jackson “Private Home Movies” airs on Fox TV. Michael hosts this two-hour special from his movie theatre in Neverland. Rebbie appears in it.

October : Michael invites the whole Jackson family to Neverland for a special photoshoot including Prince, Paris, Blanket, Omer Bhatti, Katherine, Joe, Rebbie, Jermaine, LaToya, Randy, TJ, Auggie among others. For the occasion Michael meets his half sister Joh Vonnie and her daughter Yasmine for the first (and only) time.

November 18 : The Number Ones CD & DVD are released in the US. Tom Sneddon chooses this specific day to raid Neverland with a search warrant accompanied by 7O members of the Santa Barbara County Sherriff. Katherine, Rebbie, LaToya, Jeffre & Jermaine visit him at the Mirage Hotel where he just had a nervous breakdown.

November 25 : Janet hosts Thanksgiving dinner at her Malibu house with Katherine, LaToya, Rebbie, Austin, Jermaine, Brandi, 3T among others.

December 20 : Michael returns to Neverland for the first time since it was searched for a private get together entitled “You Are Not Alone” which about 600 friends & family attend (including Rebbie, Janet & LaToya). The event is organised by Grace. Michael attends the celebration surrounded by his parents and siblings. Many friends and family members give speeches of support.

February 16 : Janet gives the last concert of the All For You Tour at the Aloha Stadium in Honolulu. Missy Elliot does a surprise performance during the song “Son Of A Gun”.

February 21 : Birth of Michael’s new son Prince Michael II at the Grossmont Hospital in San Diego, California.

May :  Katherine, Jackie, LaToya, Tito, Janet, Rebbie & Randy stage an intervention at Neverland to help Michael on his prescription-drug dependency. Michael & LaToya are reunited 14 years after their last meeting during the 1988 Bad Tour. Michael introduces them to Blanket.

May 23 : Rebbie and daughter Yashi attend VH1 Divas Spécial in Las Vegas.

June 20 : Janet is presented with the Recording Academy’s Governors Award at the annual National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences Luncheon at Beverly Hills Hotel in Beverly Hills. Katherine, Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon, Randy, Rebbie, Yashi and Jimmy Jam attend the event.

June 25 : Janet presents the Video Of The Year Award to Puff Daddy at the BET Awards at The Kodak Theater in Hollywood, California. Rebbie and Austin Brown attend the ceremony.

September 7 : It’s Michael’s day in New York City ! All the biggest stars of music, films & sport gather to attend his concert at the Madison Square Garden . Michael arrives one hour late with Elizabeth Taylor and during the first part of the show he watches tributes perfomances of his songs by today’s biggest artist in a VIP section with all his family & friends (Joe, Katherine, Rebbie, Macauley Culkin, the Cascios, Gregory Peck, Mark Lester & many more) while other friends such as Liza Minelli or Marlon Brando pay him respect on stage.

September 10 : Rebbie, Austin, Stacee & Yashi attend Michael’s second concert in NYC.

September 11 : After hearing of the terrorist attacks in New York , Michael leaves New York with Grace, Prince & Paris and the Cascios. They go at the Cascio family house in New Jersey. The Jackson family rides back to California in a bus.
