February 12 : After 13 years of relationship and 8 years of marriage, Janet & Rene decide to split and soon file for divorce. Janet leaves their Malibu beach house.
October 8 : Debbie officially files for divorce and sign a confidentiality agreement.
October 23 : Birth of Royal Jackson, first child of TJ with Frances Casey, first grandchild of Tito and first great grandchild of Joe & Katherine.
January 30 : Rebbie shoots a music vdeo for her new single “Yours Faithfully” directed by Bille Woodruff.
February 17 : “Yours Faithfully” is released as the 1st single from Rebbie’s new album of the same name. Despite Rebbie promoting the release in the United States and Europe, and receiving mostly favourable reviews, the single failed to have much success, peaking at #76 in the US R&B charts, and #76 in the UK charts, this being Jackson’s only chart entry in the UK.
March 24 : Rebbie goes to the Motown Cafe in NYC to promote her new album, “Yours Faithfully”.
March 31 : Rebbie’s new album “Yours Faithfully” is released. Rebbie goes to Europe and gives many interviews including “Fan de” and “Black and White” magazine.
April 3 : Debbie Rowe gives birth to Paris Michael Katherine Jackson, second child of Michael, at the Spalding Pain Medical Clinic of Beverly Hills.
You Take Me Places” is released as the 2nd and last single from Rebbie’s “Yours Faithfully” album.
November 25 : Back in Los Angeles, Michael spend Thanksgiving at Hayvenhurst with the Jackson family + Lisa Marie & her kids. The whole family attends except LaToya who stays in Vegas.
After nine years of inactivity, Rebbie signs to MJJ Music in 1997, a label operated by her brother Michael. She receives a major boost from Michael, who assisted in the production of the album, and provides backing vocals on the track “Fly Away,” which Michael had previously recorded for himself in 1987 for his album Bad, but it did not make the final cut. The album featured a number of producers some of whom included Eliot Kennedy, Bryan Loren, Keith Thomas, Antonina Armato and brother Michael Jackson.
January 21 : Katherine’s father, Prince Scruse, dies at the age of 90 years old.
February 13 : Debbie Rowe gives birth to Prince Michael Joseph Jackson Jr, first child of Michael, at the Cedar Sinai Medical Center of Los Angeles.
Late February : Michael hosts a Jackson Family Day at Neverland to introduce Prince to the clan. Janet who is in studio in Minneapolis can’t attend the party. LaToya is not invited.
June 24 : The stormy six-year marriage of singer LaToya and Jack Gordon is officially over. The divorce is granted in Clark County Family Court.
December 20 : Enid Spann, Jackie’s ex wife and mother of their children Siggy & Brandi tragically dies of a brain aneurysm. The Jackson family gathers at Hayvenhurst to support Siggy & brandi.
January : Katherine, Joe, Jermaine, Alejandra, Genevieve, Donte & Randy Jr move back into a renovated Hayvenhurst.
January 18 : Lisa Marie officially files for divorce. Michael’s spokesman states that they remain friends.
May 3 : LaToya calls Randy and asks him to rescue her from Jack Gordon. Randy immediately catches a plane with his cousin Tony and they take LaToya from her New York hotel straight to her Las Vegas home. There, LaToya is treated for bruises and she files for divorce ans asks a restraining order to protect her from Jack Gordon. LaToya slowly reconnects with the family starting with Randy, Jermaine & Joe and she speaks to Katherine on the phone.
July 25 : Alejandra gives birth to Jermaine’s son Jaafar Jackson.
Early September : Rebbie hosts her daughter Stacee’s wedding to Rex Salas at Neverland with most of the Jackson family (except Michael, 3T & LaToya).
November 15 : Michael gets married to Debbie Rowe in the presidential suit of the Sheraton-on-the-Park Hotel.
March 18 : Alejandra and Jermaine get married in a secret ceremony at the Hotel Bel Air causing Randy to leave Hayvenhurst!
Some time after, Joe brings a baby boy from Las Vegas to Hayvenhurst. Donte Williams, born on June 13, 1992 is adopted by Joe & Katherine but raised by Jermaine & Alejandra.
February 19 : The whole Jackson family (except LaToya) is reunited at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas to rehearse & tape The Jackson Family Honors TV Special which is broadcasted a few days later around the world. The Jacksons performs “2300 Jackson Street” with Rebbie & the grandchildren including 3T.
August 27 : Rebbie learns the tragic death of Dee Dee Jackson ( Tito’s ex wife and mother of the 3T) who was found dead in her swimming pool by her boyfriend Donald Bohana. The Jackson family gathers at Hayvenhurst to support Tito and his kids the 3T after hearing the tragic death of Dee Dee who was found dead in her boyfriend’s swimming pool.
Late August/Early September : Janet invites her nephews to spend a few days at her Malibu beach home to rest and prepare for the funerals. The whole family (except LaToya) attends Dee Dee’s funerals. Michael pays for the funerals and later he invites 3T to New York and produces their first album “Brotherhood”.
September : Katherine, Joe, Randy, Alejandra, Jermaine, Lea Bongo, Genevieve & Randy Jr move from Hayvenhurst to Beverly Park while the house is undergoing renovations due to extensive damage cause by the Northridge earthquake.
March 20 : Tito, Jermaine, Randy, Rebbie Katherine, Joseph and Jackie Jackson visit the Chaplin family in Switzerland.
April 11 : Joe, Katherine, Rebbie, Jermaine, Tito, Randy & Jackie give an interview from Hayvenhurst to ABC’s Day One programme.
August 30 : Jermaine, Katherine, Joe, Rebbie & Tito give a press conference at the Academy Theatre in North Hollywood to announce the Jackson Family Honors.
September 3 : Michael arrives in Taipei with Elizabeth Taylor & 3T. Joe, Katherine, Jermaine, Jackie, Rebbie also arrive in Taipei to support him.
October 31 : Joe’s father, Samuel Jackson dies at the age of 90.
November 8 : While the Jackson family is in Phoenix for Samuel Jackson’s funerals, the police raids Hayvenhurst…
October 2 : Alejandra Loaiza gives birth to Randy Jackson Jr in Colombia, South America. When Randy learns about it, he flies to Colombia and take Alejandra back to California with their children Genevieve & Randy Jr.
November 15-18 : The Jacksons-An American Dream is aired on ABC. This mini series about the Jackson family produced by Jermaine & Margaret and becomes a huge success.
March 31 : Janet & Rene secretly get married and move into a beach house in Malibu
July 27 : Michael invites the Jackson family to Neverland to celebrate the first ever Joe Jackson Day. Katherine, Joe, Rebbie, Jackie, Tito, Jermaine & Janet and the grandchildren attend the event.
September : Jermaine, Margaret and their children move back to Hayvenhurst in Janet & Latoya’s rooms.
September 12 : Latoya publishes her autobiography “Growing Up In The Jackson Family” which causes a great controversy. During her promotional tour, LaToya gives many interviews with Jack Gordon by her side (including the Phil Donahue Show) and she claims that Rebbie and her sexually abused by Joe…

November : Randy is arrested after Eliza phones the police to report that the beatings have not stopped. Randy is sentenced to one month in jail, two years’ probation, and ordered to enroll in a domestic violence rehabilitation program. Eliza files for divorce and custody of Steveanna.
November 13 : Katherine, Joe, Rebbie & Jermaine give a press conference in Paris to announce a clothing line. Later they are guests on French TV Show Sacrée Soirée where they claim LaToya was brainwashed by Jack Gordon.
