“Xscape” was written and recorded in 1999 during the Invincible recording sessions with Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins but failed to make the album. It was completed in 2001 and leaked on the internet the following year.

October 10, 1976 : On the Sonny & Cher Show – Bozo Awards, The Jackssons participate in the Bozo Awards segment with Sonny & Cher and Bob Hope, and they perform “Enjoy Yourself” taped at CBS Television City in Los Angeles.

November 12, 1976 : The Jacksons perform “Enjoy Yourself” and “Dreamer” on Dinah TV show (taped in Burbank). Michael talks to Fred Astaire on the show.

December 31, 1976 : Spanish TV channel TVE airs The Jacksons performances on Nochevieja. The performances were taped earlier in Las Vegas. Valerio Lazarov, the producer of the show, had sent a team. The brothers performed “Good Times”, “Enjoy Yourself”, Dreamer, Keep On Dancing & “Think Happy” with an introduction and a “Happy Birthday” sung in Spanish, alongside the presenter Didi Sherman, Lazarov’s wife.

January 19, 1977 : CBS airs the 5th episode of The Jacksons Variety Show.  Special guest star : Redd Foxx. Songs performed : “Enjoy Yourself”, “They Can’t Take That Away from Me”/”Puttin’ on the Ritz”, “Blues Away”, “Bei Mir Bist Du Schön (Means You’re Grand)”, “Keep on Dancing”.

February 8, 1977  : The Jacksons are guests on Mike Douglas show Mike Douglas Show (taped in Philadelphia) where they perform “Enjoy Yourself’, “Dreamer’ & “Show You The Way To Go”.

April 1977 : In New York City, The Jacksons perform “Enjoy Yourself” on local NY kids TV show Wonderama and they are interviewed by TV host Bob McCallister.

May 21, 1977 : The Jacksons perform “Enjoy Yourself”, “Show You the Way to Go”, “Dreamer”, “Keep on Dancing” on Musikladen, Bremen, Germany.

Blood on the Dance Floor: HIStory in the Mix (1996-1997)

RECORDING DATE

Mid January 1997 : Michael goes to Montreux, Switzerland with Frank Cascio, to complete work on the “Blood On The Dance Floor” compilation. He stays at the Fairmont Montreux Palace and spends two weeks at the Mountain Studios recording the songs Blood On The Dance Floor and Elizabeth I Love You with Matt Forger.

February 16, 1997 : Michael attends “Happy Birthday, Elizabeth Taylor: A Celebration of Life” gala held at the Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles. He arrives on the red carpet with Elizabeth and they pose for pictures. For the occasion he performs a song that he just recorded in Montreux called “Elizabeth I Love You” and gets a standing ovation by the galaxy of stars attending the event. The show is filmed and airs on February 27, 1997 on ABC.

RECORDING DATE

“Ekam Satyam” (also titled “Ekam Satyam (The One Truth)”) is an unreleased song by Michael Jackson intended for the Invincible album. It features A.R. Rahman on guest vocals.

The song was written in 1999. It was planned to debut during the MJ & Friends concerts and release as a single, although the idea got cancelled last minute. It was later considered for inclusion Invincible but ultimately didn’t make the cut.

In 2001, an Indian news website, Times of India reported about the title for the first time, interviewing Rahman, who at the time believed the song would land on Jackson’s then-upcoming new recor
