Katie’s Fashion House and the Forrester Rivalry

Sheila Makes Clear What Will Happen To Taylor On B&B If Deacon Cheats With Her
Sheila, Deacon and Taylor
Deacon’s growing connection with Taylor threatens his marriage to Sheila. Sheila’s attempts to maintain control, alongside her complicated relationship with Finn and Li, generate further family conflict.
B&B Needs A Younger Cast But Will Fall’s Additions Stay?
Will, Electra and Dylan
Will Spencer’s relationship with Electra faces new obstacles when Melissa Dylan becomes involved in his life. Ivy’s interference, romantic misunderstandings and Katie’s concerns create a complicated triangle that continues through the summer.
Other important storylines include Luna Nozawa’s death and its aftermath, the return of Thomas Forrester, Ivy’s departure from Los Angeles, R.J.’s reintegration into the Forrester family, and Wyatt Spencer’s return.
4. Recasts and SORAS
| Character | Previous actor | New actor | Date |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ridge “R.J.” Forrester Jr. | Joshua Hoffman | Brayan Nicoletti | January 2026 |
R.J. returns with a new face after having last appeared in October 2024. His recasting was announced in early January, and his first appearances with Brayan Nicoletti were scheduled for the week of January 12, 2026. Soap Opera Digest+1
SORAS: R.J. had already undergone rapid aging in 2016, when Anthony Turpel assumed the role. His 2026 recasting is therefore not a new child-to-adult SORAS.
No additional major SORAS event has been reliably documented during Season 39.
5. New characters
| Character | Actor | First appearance |
|---|---|---|
| Deke Sharpe | Harrison Cone | 2025, around the beginning of the season |
| Melissa Dylan | Sydney Bullock | 2025 |
| Darcy Dylan | Kelly Sullivan | August 27, 2026 |
| Dottie Bright | Morgan Fairchild | March 2026 |
| Michaela | Kayla Ehle | June 3, 2026 |
| Willow | Shannon McMullen | June 3, 2026 |
| Alex | Christopher “Sincere” Cato | July 13, 2026 |
| Shelly | Sandie Cameron | July 17, 2026 |
| Lonnie | Lonnie Henderson | September 1, 2026 |
| Tina | Nicole Bruner | September 1, 2026 |
Deke Sharpe is an established character returning with an adult portrayal, rather than an entirely new character. Dottie Bright and several other additions are short-term guest roles rather than permanent members of the cast. SoapsSpoilers.com+2
6. Character departures
| Character | Actor | Departure |
|---|---|---|
| Luna Nozawa | Lisa Yamada | November 2025 — character killed |
| Poppy Nozawa | Romy Park | Last reported appearance in November 2025 |
| Ivy Forrester | Ashleigh Brewer | April 24, 2026 — leaves Los Angeles |
Ivy’s departure coincided with Ashleigh Brewer’s maternity leave. It should therefore be classified as a temporary departure rather than a confirmed permanent exit.
Poppy’s absence was also linked to a temporary interruption in Romy Park’s acting career. Soap Opera Magazine
7. Returns of former characters

|---|---|---|

| Fanny Greyson | Elsa Esnoult | June 11, 2026 |
| Li Finnegan | Naomi Matsuda | July 2026, following an extended absence |
The returns of Wyatt and Shauna were particularly significant because both characters had been absent from the central storylines for an extended period.
Alison Montgomery’s return was also notable: Bill Spencer’s former assistant had not appeared since 2018. SoapsSpoilers.com+2
8. Births
No confirmed on-screen birth has been identified during Season 39.
Although Hayes Finnegan, Kelly Spencer and Douglas Forrester appear or are referenced during the season, all three characters were born in earlier years.

No other major character death has been conclusively established from the available sources for the remainder of Season 39.

Y&R characters appearing in B&B
No confirmed appearance by a character from The Young and the Restless has been identified in The Bold and the Beautiful between September 15, 2025, and September 7, 2026.
B&B characters appearing in Y&R
No confirmed crossover appearance by a B&B character in Y&R has been identified within the same period.
Important distinction: Sheila Carter’s historical appearances in both soaps and Sally Spectra’s relocation to Genoa City do not constitute new crossovers during Season 39.
The absence of verified crossover dates means that no specific episode can responsibly be listed.

Research limitations: The season dates and Carter–Daphne wedding date are verified against official episode records. The cast inventory is extensive but not exhaustive, particularly for children and uncredited guest performers. Several events have only month-level dating, and the marriages, deaths and crossover sections should not be regarded as definitive registers without a complete episode-by-episode audit.
