|---|---|
| First episode | September 1, 2006 — #4886 |

3. Main plots
Taylor’s confession, trial and relationship with Thorne
Darla’s fatal accident occurred before this season window, but its consequences dominate the opening months. Taylor becomes romantically involved with the grieving Thorne while concealing that she was driving the car that struck Darla. Shane possesses crucial information about the accident and pressures Phoebe. Taylor eventually faces trial, with Storm representing her. Thorne’s feelings for Taylor survive the revelation, but Aly’s distress becomes a major obstacle to their planned marriage. The Bold and the Beautiful
Nick takes control of Forrester Creations
Jackie falls during a confrontation with Stephanie. Nick uses the threat of Stephanie’s prosecution to force the Forresters to sell their company. Brooke rejects his treatment of the family, contributing to the end of their marriage. Eric and his family establish Forrester Originals, creating a competing fashion house. The business rivalry becomes inseparable from the conflict between the Forresters and the Marones. The Bold and the Beautiful
Stephanie confronts her childhood abuse
Therapy with Taylor leads Stephanie to reveal that her father, John Douglas, abused her and that her mother failed to protect her. Eric accompanies her to Chicago, where she confronts Ann and reconnects with Pam. The storyline introduces both women and uses flashbacks to show the family’s past. paramountpressexpress.com
Rick and Phoebe’s romance
Rick returns from Paris, now played by Kyle Lowder, and falls for Phoebe. Ridge strongly opposes the relationship. Although Rick and Phoebe are not biologically related, their complicated family connections create conflict. Events during the Sydney trip worsen the hostility between Ridge and Rick and undermine Ridge’s reconciliation with Brooke. Constantine later enters Phoebe’s life through her singing ambitions. The Bold and the Beautiful
Ashley joins the Forresters
Ashley Abbott arrives to work on the fragrance line for Forrester Originals. Her previous connection with Rick complicates matters, while she develops a romance with Ridge. Abby subsequently joins her mother in Los Angeles. Wikipedia
Shane’s death and the criminal investigation
Shane’s obsession with Phoebe culminates in a confrontation with Ridge. A gun discharges during their struggle, killing Shane. Ridge disposes of the body using Nick’s boat, leading to suspicion falling on Nick. Ridge later faces arrest, and Christine Blair crosses over from Y&R to represent him. Fandom
Nick and Taylor marry and pursue parenthood
Taylor’s professional involvement with Nick becomes romantic. They marry despite Brooke’s efforts to reclaim him. They then pursue IVF using a donor egg, with Bridget involved medically. The pregnancy develops during this window, but the birth and the full consequences of the egg mix-up occur afterward. IMDb
Brooke loses custody and is raped by Andy
Brooke’s difficulties lead to a custody battle over Hope and R.J. Stephanie encourages Andy Johnson to pursue Brooke and gives him information that helps him reach her. Andy attacks and rapes Brooke in August 2007. Brooke subsequently tells Bridget what happened. This is a sexual assault storyline, not a consensual relationship. Résumé et réactions| Soap-Passion
Donna pursues Thorne
Donna becomes involved with Thorne partly to retaliate against Stephanie for her treatment of Brooke. Their engagement develops toward the end of the window. Katie returns as the family prepares for the wedding; its eventual cancellation belongs to the following September period. en.wikipedia.org

| R.J. Forrester | Preston and Trevor Shores → Ridge Perkett | June 2007, according to contemporary appearance records. A child-to-child recast. |
