Michael has a meeting in Las Vegas with Peter Lopez, Raymone Bain and Randy Phillips to discuss about a possible tour.

January 5 : Michael has dinner with Kenny Ortega at the Wynn Restaurant in Las Vegas.

January 24 : Michael has dinner with casino mogul Steve Wynn in a private room at Alex restaurant at the Wynn in Las Vegas.

January 26 : Michael attends Lance Burton’s 7 p.m. show at Monte Carlo with the kids.

January 27 : Michael has dinner with Kenny Ortega, UK producer Simon Fuller and US journalist Robin Leach at Wing Lei at the Wynn.

January 28 : Michael takes Prince, Paris and  Blanket to see the High School Musical at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas.

February 3 : Michael attends the Beatles Love musical at the Mirage.

February 13 : Michael takes Prince, Paris and Blanket to a shopping spree at the FAO Schwarz of the Forum shops at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. Later Michael hosts a big party for Prince 10th birthday.

February 17 : Janet, Rebbie, Jermaine, Marlon, Randy, Jackie & Leonard Rowe visit Michael at his Las Vegas home and ask him to reunite with The Jacksons and tour America but he says he is not ready yet.

Michael refuses to speak to Janet which upsets her.

Over the NBA’s All-Star weekend, Michael, Will I Am & Chris Tucker attend a performance of Prince at his club 3121 in L.V.

February 18 : Michael and Will I Am work on music together.

February 21 : Michael takes Prince, Paris and  Blanket to the World Magic Seminar Show at the Orleans Showroom in L.V. Later Michael hosts a big party for Blanket’s 5th birthday.

February 27 : Michael gives a deposition for the Ayscough & Marar lawsuit.

At night he is supposed to be the surprise guest at Elizabeth Taylors 75th birthday party in Vegas but Randy crashes his residence gate forcing the entrance with his car. Michael is so upset that he cancels his appearance and calls Elizabeth to apologize.

March 4 : Michael arrives in Tokyo with the kids and he asks the fans to take part in an artdesign contest to be used on his upcoming website for the Michael Jackson Company. He is joined by Raymone Bain, Katherine Jackson and Mark Lester.

March 7 : Michael takes his kids to Disneyland Tokyo.

March 8 : Michael attends the ‘Premium VIP Party with Michael Jackson’ in Tokyo.

March 9 : Michael attends a fan appreciation event in Tokyo.

March 10 : Michael visits about 3,000 US troops and their family members gathered at a fitness center at Camp Zama in the south of Tokyo.

March 14 : Michael and his entourage leave Tokyo and fly to London.
They visit Mark Lester and his family in Cheltenham.

March 21 : MJ & the kids leave London and fly back to Los Angeles and then take a connecting flight to Las Vegas.

April 3 : Michael takes Paris, Prince and Blanket to the FAO Schwarz Toy Store at the Forum Shops in Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. Afterwards they head to the Wynn Hotel for lunch at “Wing Lei” Chinese Restaurant before going home, where a party is thrown for Paris 9th birthday.

Michael replaces Feldman with Bill Withfield as his new personal assistant.

May 4 : Michael goes to see “Spider Man 3” at Brenden Theatres at Palms in Las Vegas.

May 22 : Michael arrives in London on a flight from Los Angeles with Grace and the kids.

May 25/26 : Michael attends Prince Azim of Brunei 25th birthday celebration at the Stapelford country club in Leicestershire.

June 1 : Michael, Grace and the kids leave London and fly back to Los Angeles.
Michael “Brother Michael” Amir Williams is hired as Michael’s new assistant.

June 6 : Michael takes Prince, Paris and Blanket to a private, two-hour tour of “Bodies … The Exhibition” and “Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition” at the Tropicana in Las Vegas.

June 7 : Michael takes Prince, Paris & Blanket to the Lied Discovery Children’s Museum in Las Vegas.

June 18 : Michael’s lawyers settle a lawsuit brought by Prescient Acquisition that was seeking $48 million. The confidential settlement is signed by the Judge just as jury selection is set to begin in U.S. District Court in Manhattan.

June 25 : Michael’s lawyers agree to a judgment directing him to pay $216,000, plus interest to The law firm of Ayscough and Marar that sued him for overdue fees

Late June : Michael, Grace and the kids leave their Las Vegas house in Monte Cristo and fly to Middleburg, Virginia. They check in the Goodstone Inn, a 640-acre estate of open pastures, for a summer vacation.They are welcomed by Raymone Bain.

June 27 : Raymone Bain issues a press release to denie several false rumors about Michael and Grace and she reveals that he is currently in the studio putting finishing touches on his music. She also states that has not “left” Las Vegas nor is he being “evicted” from his residence in Las Vegas. He decided not to exercise the option to purchase the house he’s been staying in since last December.

July 3 : Raymone confirms that Michael is scouting out some summer- house properties. he was in the Eastern Shore of Maryland last week for about 24 hours.
Michael came east with his children about 10 days ago to attend some meetings with his advisers and attorneys who live in the East coast.

July 7 : TJ gets married to Frances Casey. Michael does not attend the ceremony.

July 18 : Michael takes Prince, Paris and Blanket to the Smithsonian’s National Air and Space and American Indian museums in Washington DC.

July 25 : Michael goes to the law offices of Venable LLP in Washington to give a deposition in the $30 million lawsuit brought by his former manager, Dieter Wiesner. He is accompanied his attorney, William Mundell and Wiesner by his partner Ronald Konitzer and his attorney: Howard King.

August 18 : Raymone Bain rents a luxury van to drive from Middleburg, Virginia to Franklin Lakes, New Jersey.

August 19 :  Michael, and the kids are the surprise guests of Connie Cascio’s 50th birthday at the Cascio family home in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey.
Michael sees Frank for the first time since January 2004 and the they reconcile.
While there, Michael starts working on music in Eddie’s home studio with Eddie & James Porte. He also records new vocals for a “Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin’” remix that will be featured on “Thriller 25”.

Grace, the kids’s teacher, Bill Withfielf, Javon Beard and Mike LaPerruque also stay at hotels close to the Cascios.

August 29 : Michael celebrates his 49th birthday with Grace and the kids at the Cascio family home.

September 14 : Michael meets stylist Rushka Bergman at the Four Seasons Hotel in NYC.

Michael and the kids stay at The Carlyle hotel in Manhattan (payed by Italian Vogue).

September 15 : Michael makes a photoshoot at the Boylan Studios in NYC for an upcoming cover of Italian L’Uomo Vogue magazine with photographer Bruce Weber.

September 16 : Michael takes Prince, Paris and Blanket to see ‘The Lion King’ at the Minskoff Theatre in NYC.

September 17 : Michael and the kids go back to the Cascio family house in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey.

September 24 : Michael makes a photoshoot for the upcoming cover of Ebony magazine at the Brooklyn Museum with photographer Matthew Rolston. Raymone Bain attends the photoshoot.

September 25 : Michael (with Blanket by his side) gives an interview to Harriete Cole for his upcoming Ebony coverstory at the Four Seasons Hotel in NYC.

Los Angeles Judge Joseph S. Biderman dismisses the Dieter Wiesner case.
The parties agreed to take part in the settlement discussions weeks ago. After a friendly deposition of Michael Jackson, the parties agreed to dismiss not only parts of the claims, but the entire case.

Late September : Michael meets Kayne West at Lyor Cohen’s house (the president of Def Jam Recordings) in NYC. They talk about Kayne’s upcoming remix on Thriller 25.

October 3 : Michael’s issue of L’Uomo Vogue Magazine hit the newstands in Italy.

October 15 : At the High Court in London, Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al-Khalifa’ lawyers file a lawsuit against Michael Jackson allegedly reneging on a $7 million “pay-back” agreement designed to repay money he advanced to Jackson during his financial troubles. He said he and Jackson entered into a “combined rights agreement” under which the star was committed to a recording contract, an autobiography and a musical stage play.

October 22 : Fortress Investment Group files a Notice of Default and Election To Sell iwi the State of California. MJ owes the full principal 23 millions dollars mortgage plus 212 963 dollars in interest. Reports of foreclosure proceedings against Neverland Ranch are published

Late October : Michael decides to replace Raymone Bain with Londell Mc Millan, a high profile attorney. The too of them meet in New Jersey.

October 31 : Michael and the kids celebrate Halloween at the Cascio family home in New Jersey.

November 5 : After 3 months Michael and the kids leave the Cascio family home in New Jersey and fly from NYC to Los Angeles with Grace, the school teacher and the 3 bodyguards.

November 6 : Michael and the kids stay at Jesse Jackson friend’s house in Beverly Hills.

NEVERLAND VALLEY RANCH Washington, D.C. …. In 2006, Mr. Jackson’s former advisors refinanced Neverland Valley Ranch through Fortress Investment Group, LLC. The loan matured in October, 2007. Contrary to published reports, Mr. Jackson was never in default of the loan. Mr. Jackson is in the final stages of refinance and will not lose Neverland Valley Ranch. No further comments will be made regarding this subject as it has been our long term policy not to address Mr. Jackson’s personal financial affairs.

November 8 : Michael attends Reverend Jesse Jackson’s 66th Birthday Bash at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in the company of Berry Gordy, Don Cornelius and Larry King among others.

November 11 : Birth of Sophia Laniak, 2nd child of Valencia Jackson.

November 12 : Michael’s issue of Ebony magazine celebrating the 25th Anniversary of Thriller hits the newsstands in the US.

November 15 : Michael and Grace go shopping in L.A.

November 22 : Michael and the kids celebrate Thanksgiving in L.A.

December 1 : Michael goes shopping at Sharper Image in Beverly Hills.

December 9 : Michael and the kids leave Los Angeles on a bus and go back to Las Vegas. They check in the Green Valley Ranch resort in Henderson, just south of Las Vegas. The hotel room is payed by Londell McMillan. Soon after Michael stops communication with Raymone Bain.

December 15 : Michael takes Prince, Paris and Blanket to a shopping spree in Las Vegas.

December 17 : Michael appears on the cover of Jet magazine.

December 20 : Unable to afford the Green Valley Ranch Hotel, Peter Lopez arranges with George Maloof to put up Michael and the kids for free. They check in at the Palms.
Later that night Michael has a studio session with Akon to work on the song “Hold My Hands” and the remix for “Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin’” among others.

December 23 : Michael spends 10 000$ on a shopping spree at FAO Schwarz his credit card is refused. Londell McMillan pays the bill by phone from New York.

December 24/25 : Michael celebrates Christmas with Prince, Paris and  Blanket at the Palms.

December 27 : Both Michael and Raymone enter into a “Payment and Release Agreement” terminating her employment as Mchael’s manager and president of the MJ Company against the payment of $488,820.05.

December 31 : Michael and the kids celebrate New Year’s eve at the Palms.

The loan on the Sony/ATV music catalog is refinanced which provides 25 millions dollars in cash to Michael.
