June 24 : Many members of the Jackson family go to Las Vegas (including Paris) to spend time with Joe at the hospital.
Paris updates her bio on Twitter and Instagram to announce she in a band called “The Soundflowers.”
June 27 : Joe Jackson passes away in a Las Vegas hospice surrounded by family.
The Jackson family gathers to mourn him and prepare for the funerals.
July 2 : Many members of the Jackson family attended a private service for Joe Jackson held at Forest Lawn in Glendale, CA. Among others : Katherine, Rebbie, Austin, Janet (with her son Eissa), LaToya, Jackie (with children and grandchildren), Marlon, Tito (with children and grandchildren), Randy, Jermaine Jr (with wife Asa), Joh’Vonnie (with daughter Yasmine), Paris & Bigi, Stevie Wonder & Johnny Gill. Prior to the service some family members gathered at Hayvenhurst, the family home since 1971. After the service they had lunch at the Langham Huntington Hotel in Pasadena.
