June 14, 2001: Janet attends the ‘Liaisons Au Louvre II’ Charity Gala Dinner at Musee du Louvre with Becca Cason Trash, Prince Albert II of Monaco, Diane Krugger and Joshua Jackson among others. Dinner is followed by champagne, desserts and coffee in the I.M. Pei-designed pyramid where Janet & the Kids rock Louvre traditions with a one-hour performance.

June 28, 2009 : Janet makes a surprise appearance at the BET Awards where she gives a short speech on behalf of the Jackson family thanking everyone for their support following the death of her brother Michael. The previously scheduled awards show ends up turning into a tribute to the King of Pop, who is honored throughout the entire night.

September 13, 2009 : Janet opens the MTV Video Music Awards with a special performance of Scream in tribute to Michael. Gil Duldulao & Tina Landon are among the dancers with her.

November 7, 2009 : Janet tapes her ABC’s interview with Robin Roberts from her Malibu home.

November 18, 2009 : In an interview on ABC’s “In The Spotlight With Robin Roberts”, Janet speaks for the first time about Michael’s death and she reveals that she is single.

November 22, 2009 : Live from the Nokia Theatre, Janet opens the American Music Awards ceremony with a 8 minutes medley of “Control”, “What Have You Done For Me Lately”, “Miss You Much”, “If”, “Make Me” and “Together Again”. Later Janet hosts an after-party at Whiskey Blue at the W Hotel Westwood to celebrate the release of “Number Ones” with Ciara, Melody Thornton, D. Woods, Brett Ratner, and Russell Simmons among others.

December 6, 2009 :Janet performs “All For You” and “Make Me” on X Factor UK’ s season finale. Shortly after Janet closes the show at this weekend’s Jingle Bell Ball at the O2 Arena singing a medley of her hits.

March 4, 2010 : Janet & Tyler Perry tape an episode of The Oprah Winfrey Show in Chicago which will air on Friday, April 2, the same day that Why Did I Get Married Too? hits theaters.

March 18, 2010 : Janet is a guest on NBC’s  “The Tonight Show With Jay Leno” live from Burbank, California.

March 22, 2010 : Back in NYC, Janet and Tyler Perry are guests on NBC’s Today Show to promote the release of Why Did I Get Married Too?

May 26, 2010 : Live on FOX from the Nokia Theatre in L.A, Janet gives a surprise performance of “Nothing” and “Nasty” on the season finale of American Idol. Prior to her walking on the stage, several of the contestants perform a few lines of “Again” and Janet joins in with them before she begins singing the other songs.
