September 23 : Birth of Marlon Jackson Jr, third child of Marlon & Carol.
September 25 + 26 : Last concerts at the Triumph Tour at The Forum in Inglewood. The whole Jackson family attends the shows and many celebrities including Magic Johnson, Dick Clark, Stevie Wonder, Quincy Jones & Patti Austin.
Randy leaves Hayvenhurst and moves in with his girlfriend Julie Mijares.
February 4 : Randy is seriously injured in a car crash in Hollywood, California. He almost looses a leg but after 6 months and 7 operations, he finally manages to walk again.
July 29 : Michael, LaToya, Rebbie & Randy pose with cast members of “Blackness” .
September 3 : In recognition of their contribution to music , The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce honour The Jacksons with a Star on Hollywood Boulevard’s “Walk Of Fame”. Michael, Jackie, Tito, Marlon and Randy attend the presentation with Joe & Katherine, Rebbie, LaToya, Janet and Joe’s mother Crystal Jackson. Michael is also presented a special plaque in “recognition of 4 Top ten singles from the album Off The Wall”. Later the Jackson family has dinner at Chasen’s restaurant in West Hollywood.
February 8 : Dr. Conrad Murray is arraigned and pleads not guilty to involuntary manslaughter charges in the death of Michael Jackson. His bail is set at $75,000. The judge rules as a condition to bail, Murray cannot be in possession of (or prescribe) anesthetics and specifically mentioned Propofol. The next court date is determined to be April 5th.

March 22 : Janet attends the world fpremiere of Why Did I Get Married Too? at the School of Visual Arts Theater in New York City with Rebbie and Austin.
April 22 : Rebbie gives an interview live on The Today Show with Matt Lauer.
August 23 : A short hearing happens. The prosecutor is arguing there have been issues with witness availability. The judge sets preliminary hearing date for January 4, 2011. Also Murray is due back in court on Oct. 26 for another status hearing.
Murray’s defense team reportedly asked for access to three fluids collected by the coroner’s office, including ones taken from syringes and an IV tube to re-examine test results. Pastor ruled that the coroner’s office must preserve the samples, and if defense attorneys and prosecutors cannot agree on the request, he will schedule a hearing on the matter.

September 15 : Katherine, Prince, Paris & Blanket are suing AEG Live — claiming the company breached its agreement to provide physical care for Michael — and that AEG was negligent in their hiring of Dr. Conrad Murray as MJ’s physician.

November 30 : Birth of Dallas Jordan Michael Jackson (JoJo), third child of TJ & Frances.
December : Hayvenhurst has to be remodeled. Katherine, Trent, Prince, Paris & Bigi move to a rented mansion in Calabasas. Alejandra, Genevieve, Donte, Randy Jr & Jermajesty decide to stay at Hayvenhurst. The Michael Jackson Estate offered Alejandra a condo MJ owned in the San Fernando Valley, but she refused.

November 7 : The Jackson family arrives at court for the Dr Conrad Murray trial verdict. Murray is convicted in the 2009 death of pop singer Michael Jackson from an overdose of the powerful anesthetic propofol.
November 08 : Rebbie tells TODAY’S Ann Curry she has no sympathy for Dr. Conrad Murray, who was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter in connection with her brother’s death in 2009.

November 29 : Katherine, Rebbie, LaToya & Jermaine attend the sentencing of Dr. Conrad Murray at the Los Angeles Superior Court. Judge Michael E. Pastor sentences Murray to four years in the Los Angeles County Jail for the involuntary manslaughter of Jackson. A restitution hearing is scheduled for January 23, 2012 to determine the amount of restitution to be paid to the Jackson family.
