June 24 : The Michael Jackson Estate sue Jeffre Phillips

Michael Jackson’s estate claims Jeffre Phillips once engaged to LaToya Jackson used the chaos and sadness around Michael’s death to steal a bunch of property from the home where Michael Jackson was murdered.
According to new legal documents, the Estate claims Jeffre Phillips apparently used his 9-day stay in Michael’s Carolwood House to steal personal and private property.
Michael’s estate claims Phillips started staying at the home right after MJ died on June 25, 2009 and pulled off brazen acts of theft under the cover of all the hullabaloo around the home … making off with items including MJ’s iPhone, California drivers license, prescription pill bottles with pills inside and some clothes.
The Estate claims Phillips also stole handwritten notes from MJ, plus a briefcase filled with personal and business papers, as well as video cameras, computers and hard drives and even stole the pajamas Michael was wearing in the final hours before his death — which had apparently been removed from his body by the paramedics trying to save his life — and a resuscitator tube that appears to have been used on Michael. The lawsuit was filled on Friday 24 June 2022.

June 29 : The Cascio tracks removed from all music platforms

The infamous Cascio tracks that were on the first posthumous album of the King of Pop released in 2010, have been removed from some music platforms. The tracks “Breaking News”, “Keep Your Head Up”, and “Monster” seems to not appear on certain platforms anymore Vera Serova has been taking on Sony Music and the Estate of Michael Jackson in court for years after the release of the album which included the 3 disputed songs.

After the lawsuit was filled on Friday 24 June 2022 where Michael Jackson’s estate claims Jeffre Phillips used the chaos and sadness around Michael’s death to steal a bunch of property from the home where Michael Jackson was murdered. LaToya Jackon’s ex-fiancé Jeffré Phillips has told a judge he did not steal Michael’s private property in the days after his death. According to court documents, in his declaration, Phillips said the allegations are not true. He said from 1995 through 2015, he dated LaToya. “We were engaged to be married during the last one and a half years of our relationship. Throughout our relationship, we lived together, worked together, toured together, starred in our own reality show together and operated as a single-family unit.”

September 3 : First win for the Estate in “Michael Jackson Estate vs Jeffre Phillips”

Michael Jackson’s estate just scored a big legal win in the legal battle with Jeffre Phillips by preventing a potential sale of Michael’s property the estate claims was stolen from the singer’s home right after his death. According to new legal docs, a judge issued a preliminary injunction barring Jeffre Phillips from selling any items he allegedly removed from the residence back in 2009.

November 09 : The Michael Jackson Estate seeking to recover $1 million in property possessed by Jeffre Phillips.

The Estate launched legal actions last June when Julien’s Auctions reported Phillips’s attempt to sell the items to the Estate. Today, the Estate is seeking to recover $1 million in property the estate believes is being wrongfully possessed by Jeffre Phillips.
