The song was recorded in 1999 during the “Invinsible” album recording sessions with Rodney Jerkins, although it didn’t make the cut.
It was mastered in 2004 for The Ultimate Collection. This was the final version Michael approved with complete vocals, production and in general ready to be released.

RELEASE DATE :
The Invincible sessions demo from 1999 was attempted to be sold on an auction with the minimal bid of $100K in 2018, but no one bidded. The CD had the date of March 31, 2014 written on it, which is the same day Xscape was announced.
The final version from 2004 was sold at an auction in 2021 to a fan in UK for £1K. Run time: 5:17. Mastered on June 20, 2004, for “The Ultimate Collection” but again, the song failed to gain a release on that box set.
The song was last discussed during a Sony UK meeting before the release of the “Xscape” album in 2014. Many snippets were leaked since 2010. Verse 1 and chorus snippet was leaked on August 18, 2022. Verse 2 snippet was leaked on August 12, 2023.
The full demo from 1999 leaked on August 22, 2023 but remains unreleased.
The final version from 2004 leaked on March 30, 2024 but remains unreleased.
