Randy moves to Hayvenhurst with Alejandra and their children Genevieve and Randy Jr.

January 01 : Back at his hotel room from last night’s performance at the Tokyo Dome, Michael spends some time with Japanese artist Kenji Koga about his plans for ‘Wonder World of Toys’. A few hours later, MJ goes to Narita airport for a flight back to Los Angeles.

Early January  : Back from Japan, Michael celebrates his first Christmas at Neverland with Elizabeth Taylor & her husband Larry Fortensky.

Michael invites the Cascio family (Dominic, Connie, Frank, Eddie, Dominic, Marie Nicole & Aldo) to Neverland for the first time). They soon become regular guests until 2004. 

January 9 : Michael and Oprah Winfrey make a photoshoot together to promote their upoming TV Special for ABC.

Michael starts rehearsing for his upcoming American Music Aards and Superbowl performances.

January 16 : Michael attends the NAACP Image Awards with Katherine at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in Pasadena. He gives a speech upon being awarded the 25th Silver Anniversary Entertainer of the Year Award following a tribute performance of “Will You Be There” by Patti Labelle & gospel singer Daryl Coley. Michael sings with the group as a finale for the award ceremony.

January 17 : Michael visits a children’s hospital. Later, he appears on the televised “Call for Reunion” concert at the Lincoln Memorial for “America’s Reunion on the Mall”, a festival for Bill Clinton’s upcoming inauguration. MJ joins other celebrities (including Diana Ross & Stevie Wonder) on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington D.C,  to sing “We Are The World” and “America the Beautiful”.

January 18 : While in Washington DC for the Clinton Presidential Inaugural Gala, Michael Jackson takes part in a photo shoot by artist photographer Lynn Goldsmith.

January 19 : Michael appears on the televised “The 52nd Presidential Inaugural Gala” in Landover, Maryland at The Capital Centre in honor of President Bill Clinton, making an appeal on behalf of AIDS sufferers and his friend Ryan White. MJ performs “Gone Too Soon” and “Heal the World”. At the end, he joins Fleetwood Mac and other celebrities on the finale of “Don’t Stop”.

January 25 : Michael opens the American Music Awards ceremony held at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles with a performance of “Dangerous”. He also receives three awards including the first ever International Artist Award presented by Elizabeth Taylor & Eddie Murphy. Michael stays at “The Hideaway”, his apartment in Century City with Frank & Eddie Cascio and Jordy Chandler.

January 26 : Michael attends a press conference at the Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles to accept a cheque of $100 000 from the NFL and Frito Lay (Sponsor of the Superbowl) and $500 000 from Best Foundation for his Heal The World Foundation. Heal LA is launched at this event. Later he takes, Frank, Eddie & Jordy (with his mother & sister) to Disneyland and at night the whole group goes to Neverland.

January 31 : Michael performs a medley of “Jam”, “Bilie Jean”, “Black Or White” and “Heal The World” at the Superbowl Halftime Show in the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena before an audience of 100 000 in the stadium and 133 millions on TV.

February 8 : Michael is on the cover of Jet magazine with Oprah Winfrey.

February 10 : “Michael Jackson Talks…to Oprah” is aired live from Neverland Valley Ranch all around the world attracting around 100 million viewers. During the interview, Michael reveals that he suffers from a skin disorder that destroys the pigmentation of his skin. He also shows his ranch to the world, premieres the video of “Give In To Me” and improvises a beat box on “Who Is It” after doing the Moonwalk. Elizabeth Taylor makes a surprise appearance to support him. Karen Faye & Debbie Rowe are also present.

February 15 : “Give In To Me” is released in the world (except the US).

February 16 : Former President Jimmy Carter visits Michael at Neverland for Heal Our Children Co-Chairs and they pose for pictures together.

February 24 : Michael attends the Grammy Awards with Brooke Schields at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. Janet presents him with the Grammy Legend Award. Following the presentation, Michael & Brooke attend the Polygram Party at A&M Studios and later show up at the Sony Party in Century City.

February 26 : Michael is on the cover of Entertainment Weekly.

Michael talks about Elizabeth Taylor in a video for the Arts & Entertainment Network.

Late February : Michael invites Jordy Chandler, his sister Lily & mother June to Neverland for the first time.

March : Michael updates and approves the second music video for “Who Is It”, which is a compilation video of his performances by MTV producer Glenn Ribble.

March 8 : Michael sprains his ankle during rehearsals for his “Soul Train Music Awards” performance. Michael’s announcement of “Michael Jackson Productions Inc.”, a film production company, which will give a share of its profits to his “Heal the World Foundation”, is published.

March 9 : Michael attends the Soul Train Awards at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles with Bill Bray where he is presented with two awards + the Humanitarian Award Of The Year presented by Eddie Murphy. He also perfoms “Remember The Time” seated in a gold chair because he twisted his ankle the night before (Wayne & Bill help him to the podium on a wheelchair!).

March 11 : Walking on churches, Michael attends the “AFI Life Achievement Award: A Tribute to Elizabeth Taylor” for his friend Elizabeth Taylor’s award acceptance in Los Angeles, California, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

March 16 :  Dr Sasaki performs surgery on Michael’s scalp to reduce the scar & bald scalp from the Pespi burn. Dr Hoefflin, Dr Metzger, Dr Klein & Debbie Rowe take care of Michael after the surgery.

March 27 : Michael makes a five-minute speech in front of 1200 teachers and politicians at a conference in the Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles which is sponsorised by the Milken Family Trust.

March 29 : Who Is It” is released in the US as a maxi single in the with several dance remixes including the “Brothers In Rhythm House Mix” and productions by electronic music star Moby. This song hit #6 on the R&B singles chart & #14 on the the Hot 100.

March 30 : “Watzupwitu”, a duet between Michael & Eddie Murphy is released.

Late March : Michael takes Jordy, Lily & June Chandler to Las Vegas where they stay at the Mirage Hotel.

April 02-07 : Jordy, Lily & June Chandler visit Michael at Neverland.

April 13 : Michael travels to Pawtucket, in the state of Rhode Island. This small town, bordering Providence, the state capital, is near the Massachusetts border and close to Boston. Michael is there to visit the headquarters of the famous American toy manufacturer, Hasbro. During a visit lasting more than two hours, the singer has the opportunity to see the various production rooms.

April 15 : The video for “Watzupwitu”  is premiered on FOX & BET.

April 18-22 : Jordy, Lily & June Chandler visit Michael at Neverland.

April 22-25 : Michael takes Jordy, Lily & June Chandler to Disneyword in Orlando.

April 26 : As part of “Heal L.A drive”, Michael visits Los Angeles South Central with Caroline Bingham & Adrian Grant.

Early May : Evan Chandler invites Michael to spend time with his son at his house…

May 5 : Michael is invited by ex president Jimmy Carter to Atlanta in order to boost the Atlanta Immunisation Drive. Afterwards, Michael joins Ted Turner, Jane Fonda, Emmanuel Lewis & Lisa Marie Presley in the front row during the Kids Celebration at OMNI.

May 9 : Michael checks in the Hotel de Paris in Monaco with Jordy, Lily & June + Bob Jones.

May 10 : Michael has dinner with Prince Albert De Monaco.

May 12 : Michael attends the World Music Awards in Monaco with Jordy, Lily & June. Michael is presented with three awards by Michael Douglas, Prince Albert & Princess Stephanie. The ceremony is broadcasted later on TV channels around the world.

May 13 : Michael & the Chandlers leave Monaco by helicopter and in Nizza transfers to a plane to Paris where they spend three day visiting Disneyland .

May 16 : Michael & the Chandlers fly back to Los Angeles.

May 18 : Michael is presented with two awards at the BMI Pop Awards Dinner at the Regency Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Los Angeles. Lori Byler, president of the ‘MJ Observer Fan Club’, later presentes Michael with another award, a plaque in recognition of his work with children.

May 19 : Michael is presented with the first ever Lifetime Achievement Award from Norris McWhirther, the Editor of the Guinness Museum of World Records in Los Angeles.

May 22 : Michael shows up to Jordie’s little brother, Nikki’s 5th birthday Party at Evan Chandler’s house. Evan suggests that Michael build a new wing to his house…

May 27 : The ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers) presents Michael Jackson with three R&B Awards for In The Closet, Remember The Time, and Jam.

June : Michael signs off on two film ideas put to him by producer Rusty Lemorande, remakes of the James Cagney film “Angels With Dirty Faces” and the 1964 film “7 Faces of Dr. Lao”.

Michael’s brief interview and photoshoot with “Disney Adventures” magazine, including a short handwritten message, is published.

Michael is on the cover of LIFE magazine with an exclusive cover story of Neverland. Photographer Harry Benson remembers : “At Neverland, I was told we had to stay outside, so we started in the flower-filled garden and moved on to the Ferris wheel and go-carts. When the publicist left, I asked Michael if we could go inside as I needed a cover for LIFE and several inside pages to fill. Michael said all right in his very soft voice, and in we went. He showed me his great house and I started photographing. We started in the living room and moved upstairs to the bedroom. I always like to photograph people in their bedrooms; it’s the most private room in the house.”

June 5 : Michael is interviewed by Rick Dees on the Radio Sation KIIS FM in Los Angeles .

June 10 : Michael makes an appearance at an afternoon rally at a middle school in Los Angeles to launch a new DARE programme.

June 19 : Michael gives a short interview at Neverland for MTV’s “My Weekend at Michael’s Neverland Valley Contest” and chooses a grand-prize winner. Contestants had sent in their home made videos for Michael’s song, ‘Who Is It’, and 3 winners were invited to stay the weekend. Michael would choose the winner of the best video, who would get $10,000 and an opportunity to direct an Epic Records music video.

June 23 : Michael’s mailed-in tape of his performance of “Jam” at Wembley Stadium is shown for the “Together For Our Children — M.U.S.I.C.” special benefiting a children immunization program (Musicians Unite with Stars to Immunize Children).

June 28 : “Will You Be There”, the eighth single from Dangerous is released worldwide. It peaks at #7 on Hot 100 Billboard. The “live” video is a montage of MTV 10th anniversay performance and the Dangerous tour.

Late June : In Los Angeles, Michael starts rehearsing for the 3rd leg of the Dangerous World Tour.

June 30 : Michael meets with Dr Sasaki at Dr Klein’s office in Beverly Hills. Michael explains that he is experiencing pain while rehearsing for the 3rd leg of the Dangerous World Tour. He has to wear a hairpiece to camouflage the scar.

July : The American Friends of Hebrew University award their 1994 Scopus Award to Michael Jackson.

Michael starts working on a short film named “Is This Scary” with Stephen King and Mick Garris for a song scheduled to appear on “The Adam Family Values” soundtrack.

Early July : Evan Chandler hires attorney Barry Rothman and together set a plot to extort money from Michael.

July 2 : Evan Chandler & Dave Schawartz meet at Rent-A-Wreck to discuss what is going on in the family. Evan asks Dave’s help to put an end to the relationship between Jordie ans Michael.

July 3 : Dr. Sasaki prescribes Percocet for Michael. It is the first time he prescribed pain medication to MJ. Percocet is a short-acting oxycodone combination product, meaning that the narcotic is paired in tablet form with an over-the-counter analgesic, in this case, acetaminophen.

July 7 : Evan Chander files a modification of his custody agrement. The documents petition the courts to forbid Jordie from going anywhere near Michael. Evan requests that Jordie receive psychiatric help to determine the full extent of Michael’s influence on him. He also accuses June of “nurtering” the relationship between Jordie & Michael.

July 8 : During a phone call to Dave Schwartz (Jordy’s stepfather), Evan threatens to destroys Michael if he doesn’t get what he wants. Michael’s attorney Bert Fields hires private investigator Anthony Pellicano to investigate the Chandlers.

July 9 : Dave & June Schwartz play the tape conversation to Pellicano who then visits Jordy & Lily at Michael’s Century City condominium. Pellicano asks Michael, June and Dave to leave the room to be alone with Jordie. After asking him questions for one hour, the PI is convinced that nothing happened betweet the boy and Michael Jackson.

Michael meets Nelson Mandela, who has flown in with his family to visit Michael and Elizabeth Taylor in Los Angeles. Michael asks photographer Harrison Funk to do a photoshoot of him with Taylor and Mandela.

July 10 : Michael takes takes Jordy, Lily & June Chandler to his friend’s Michael Milken’s beach house in Los Angeles. Later, they are supposed to go to Neverland to celebrate Lily’s birthday but June cancels the trip and decides to ga back to her home in L.A. Michael returns to Neverland alone.

July 11 : Chandler & Rothman ask June to let Jordy stay with Evan for a “one week visitation period” but Evan does not return Jordy to June after one week as planned…

July 13 : Michael’s signing of 3T, a musical group composed of his newphews Taj, Taryll, and T.J., on his “MJJ Music” label, results in the release of their first song “Didn’t Mean to Hurt You” on the “Free Willy” soundtrack; Michael also includes “Will You Be There” on the soundtrack.

July 20 : There is another request for Percocet, due to strenuous rehearsals, prescribed with the knowledge of Dr. Klein.

August : Michael rehearses for the 3rd leg of the Dangerous World Tour.

August 2 : Evan Chandler extracts a tooth from his son Jordie in his Beverly Hills clinic. During the procedure, he decides to intravenously administer the drug sodium Amytal. While under the influence of the drug, Jordie answers questions about Michael.

August 4 : Evan & Jordy meet Michael & Pellicano in a suite at the Westwood Marquis Hotel (this is the last time Michael & Jordy ever see each other)
Later that evening, Pellicano go to Rothman’s office where he & Chandler make their demand for $20 millions!!!

August 5 : Michael attends a performance of ballet dancer Mikhail Baryshnikov with Debbie Rowe and Arnold Klein in Orange County, California.

August 10 : Dr Sasaki receives a phone call from Dr. Klein that Michael is experiencing extreme pain

August 10 +11 +12 : Michael starts filming the short film “Is This Scary” directed by Mick Garris at CBS/Radfort Studios in Studio City. Shana Mangatal, the secretary of Michael’s manager is part of the cast. James Safechuck and his parents visit Michael on the set and they all pose for a picture together.

August 13 : During another meeting in Rothman’s office, Pellicano proposes a counter offer : a $ 350 000 screenwriting deal but Chandler rejects it…
Rothman makes a counterdemand: a deal for three screenplays that would amount to about 15 million dollars. Through Pellicano, Michael declines the counter-offer.

Michael calls in sick and does not show up on the set of “Is This Scary”.

August 14 : Michael resumes the filming of “Is This Scary”.

Michael accepts the “Our Children, Our Hope Of Tomorrow Award” at the “Jack the Rapper Awards” via video message.

August 15 : Dr Sasaki meets Michael with Debbie Rowe and injects him with Demerol to relieve him from extreme pain on his scar.

On behalf of June Schwartz, attorney Michael Freeman notifies Rothman that he will be filing paper early the next morning that will force Chandler to turn over Jordy.
Reacting quickly Chandler takes Jordy to psychiatrist Mathis Abrams. During a gruelling three-hour session, Jordy tells Abrams that he was sexually molested by Michael.
Abrams, who is required by law to report any such accusations to authorities calls a social worker at the Department of Children’s Services who in turn contact the police. Within hours, Jordie is interviewed by a caseworker with the Los Angeles County Department of Children Services and an officer with the Los Angeles Police Department.

August 17 : The Los Angeles Police Department officially opens a criminal investigation against Michael Jackson based on accusations of child molestation made by Jordy Chandler.

Michael shows up at 8 pm on the set of “Is This Scary” with Brett Barnes & Arnold Klein.

August 18 : Bert Fields and Anthony Pellicano inform Michael that the Los Angeles Police Department ‘s Sexually Exploited Child Unit has opened a criminal investigation on him. The same day, June & Dave are interviewed the LAPD.

Michael does not show up on the set of “Is This Scary”. According to Arnold Klein he has a 103 degree temperature. Word is that Michael is about to cancel the next leg of his Dangerous Tour.

August 19 : Producer Marcel Avram complains that Michael asked him to cancel or postpone the third leg of the tour but Avram refuses…

August 20 : Michael cancels the filming of “Is This Scary” and goes to San Francisco to embark on a commercial flight to Taipei (Taiwan) with Bill Bray.

Debbie Rowe :”Michael was getting ready to go on tour. It was after the Sasaki surgery. He wasn’t completely off the Demerol, but he was right there. He was on Toradol, which is a non-narcotic, and he was right there. And it was a fight to get him there, because he had such fear of the pain that what would happen if we didn’t catch it before it gets to a certain point, then you have to go overboard, you have to go a different way. And he was doing so well, and I didn’t want anything to get screwed up. I talked to him and asked him how he was one morning, and he said he didn’t feel good. And I said, “well, I’ll just bring you soup for lunch then” and I said, “I have to see a patient, so I won’t be there until later”. And I probably would have gotten there like 1:30 or 2:00 and everything was gone at the house. His instruments, his clothes, everything was gone. And I called – I think it was Evvy that was working for him – and she said, “he’s gone on tour” and I said, “well, how could he just go on tour? He doesn’t have any of the stuff” and she said – she sounded like they took him, there was really nothing we can do”

August 21 : Michael arrives in Taipei (Taiwan) on a commercial flight with China Airlines from San Francisco. One hours later, Michael takes another flight to Bangkok, the capital and most populous city of Thailand, to kick off the third leg of his Dangerous World Tour.

Dr Stewart Finkelstein wasn’t Michael’s personal doctor – he was to attend to the crew and the rest of the company, but he treated Michael Jackson when Dr. Forecast was not available, and in Bangkok Forecast was not yet there. Dr. Finkelstein confirmed it in his video deposition that initially he was the only doctor on the tour.

The Los Angeles Police Department serve search warrants on Michael’s Neverland Valley Ranch in Santa Barbara and on his condominium known as the “hide-out” at 1101 Galaxy Way #2247 in Century City. Brett Barnes, his mother and sister are staying at Neverland when the polices arrives for the search.

August 22 : Filming for “Is This Scary” wrapps in L.A with crucial scenes missing including Michael’s singing and dacing parts”.

August 23 : Michael attends a Pepsi Tour Press Conference at the Oriental Hotel.

The media reveal that Michael is under criminal investigation for child molestation which becomes of the biggest scandals of all time and will dominate newspapers, magazines, TV shows and tabloids for many months to come…

August 24 : Michael launches the third leg of his Dangerous World Tour with a concert at the Suphachalasai Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. Backstage, before the concert, Michael & Bill Bray pose for pictures with former 1988 Thai Miss Universe Porntip Nakhirunkanok.

After the concert, Dr Finkelstein : “I attempted to give him a shot of Demerol, but his buttocks was so scarred up and abscessed that the needle almost bent. And at that time, I’m thinking we were going to have erratic absorption and that that was not a safe route to administer medication to him because it may accumulate and then all of a sudden dump in his system or not get to him, in which case at that point in time I ran an IV, and I administered some IV pain medication. And do you recall what IV pain medication you administered? “Morphine.”

August 25 : Michael’s second concert in Bangkok is rescheduled to august 26 because Michael is suffering from acute dehydration.

August 26 : Michael’s concert is is again rescheduled for august 27 (he releases an audio-taped message to his fans).

Brett Barnes & Wade Robson and their families give interviews on CNN to defend Michael.

August 27 : Concert at the Suphachalasai Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

August 28 : Michael arrives in Singapore.

Elizabeth Taylor and her husband Larry fly from Los Angeles to Singapore to be with Michael. They check in the Raffles hotel where Michael is staying.

August 29 : Concert at the National Stadium, Singapore in Singapore, Republic of Singapore on Michael’s 35th birthday.

August 30 : Jermaine, Katherine, Joe, Rebbie & Tito give a press conference at the Academy Theatre in North Hollywood to announce the Jackson Family Honors. They defend Michael in front of the media.

August 31 : Michael undergoes a brain scan in hospital and he releases a second audio-taped message to apologize for the late cancellation of his concert.

September : Michael asks John Branca and Howard Wetzman to take over Anthony Pellicano as his spokesmen.

Michael’s written introduction for “Pigtails And Frog Legs: A Family Cookbook from Neiman Marcus” is published, where he explains the deeper meaning of cooking for children.

Michael’s speech discussing his “Heal the World Foundation” is pressed in 50 copies of an upcoming “Signature Series” album for Walkman purchasers in a track entitled “Heal the World (Including a Special Message From Michael Jackson)”, before the album is cancelled.

September 4 : Concert at the Taipei Municipal Stadium in Tapei, Taiwan.

September 5 : Michael goes shopping to Toy’s R Us in Taipei with the 3T.

September 7 : Michael & the 3T arrive in Fukuoka, Japan, then board a bus to Huis Ten Bosh, a theme park, where they stay for two days.

September 15 : Michael visits children at a Moscow orphanage. At night, he performs in concert at the Luzhniki Olympic Stadium in Moscow.

September 16 : Michael is due to fly out of Russia to head for Israel for the next part of his tour, but decides to stay behind to visit a children’s hospital. Michael flies one of the youngsters to America for treatment from a specialist. While at the hospital, the youngster sings a song to him in Russian.

September 17 : Michael arrives in Tel Aviv, Israel. At Michael’s request, Dominic Cascio and his children Frank & Eddie arrive from NYC to support him.

During a TV interview on Larry King Live on CNN, La Toya supports Michael : “He is my brother, I love him dearly and I stand by him and I certainly hope that all these allegations come to an end.”

September 18 : Michael visits Jerusalem.. He is met by religious protesters at the ancient Western Wall but is welcomed at Masada , another historic site.

September 19 : Concert at the Yarkon Park in Tel Aviv, Israel.

Two US detectives fly to Manila to question Mark & Faye Quindoy.

September 22, Michael arrives in Istanbul, Turkey, with Frank & Eddie. They go to the cinema to watch Jurassik Park.

Jeanne White, Ryan White’s mother, tells the press that she met Jordy at Neverland in July and doesn’t believe he was molested by Michael.

September 23 : Concert at the BJK İnönü Stadium in Istanbul, Turkey. Backstage, he accepts the “Gold Otto Award” from “Bravo” magazine reporter Alex Gernarndt.

September 25 : Michael arrives in Tenerife with the Cascios. In late afternoon, they visit Loro Parque (Parrot Park), whose creator and owner, Wolfgang Kiessling, also owns the Hotel Botanico. Always dressed in his black pants and orange shirt, with an additional black jacket, he arrives at this popular zoo on the Canary Islands after its closure for a private visit.

September 26 : Michael performs a concert at the Port of Santa Cruz de Tenerife in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, one of the capitals of the Canary Islands. Minutes before the show he meets backstage Laurent Hopman, the president of his French fan-club. Katherine & the Cascios boys are also there.

September 27-October 6 : Following the cancellation of the South African concerts due to continued violence there, Michael takes a break and goes to Switzeland with Frank & Eddie. They stay at Elizabeth Taylor’s chalet in Gstaad for several days and then they visit Geneva.

October : Tony Jackson, a cousin of Michael with whom he had a close relationship dies in a car accident aged 35. Michael pays for the funeral and decides to support Tony’s wife Debra and their 7 year old child Anthony.

October 06 : Michel arrives in Buenos Aires, Argentina, with Frank & Eddie.

October 07 : While in Buenos Aires, Michael is welcomed at the Casa Rosada, the seat of the country’s executive power, by President Carlos Menem.

October 08 : Michael performs his first concert at the River Plate Stadium in Buenos Aires, Argentina before an audience of 70000 spectators. For the first time this year, he includes ‘Man In The Mirror’ in the song list.

October 10 : Michael performs his second concert at the River Plate Stadium in Buenos Aires, Argentina before an audience of 70000 spectators.

October 12 : Michael performs his third concert at the River Plate Stadium in Buenos Aires, Argentina before an audience of 70000 spectators.

October 13 : Michael arrives in São Paulo, Brazil, with Frank & Eddie.

October 14 : Michael wants to visit the Estrela Toy Factory based in Guarulhos. Márcio de Paula, living near the factory decided to have a glimpse of the King of Pop! Accompanied by his sister, Márcio, who was 15 at the time, felt “a very bad feeling” when observing the huge amount of fans, press and police in front of the factory. So, to get away from the crowd, he decided to lean against a police car. There were not enough security guards at the scene and when Michael and his entourage realized that inside the factory was as full as outside, they decided to cancel the visit. “The cars turned around, at that moment I was standing there on the hood of the police car, and when the factory gates opened, that crowd became abuzz and the cars began to lose control, and were swerving away from people, because people threw themselves in front of the cars. And in that, his vehicles were hitting the car I was leaning in. So, actually, I was squeezed by his entourage’s car.” Márcio was not the only one hit, other people were injured, including his younger sister, who suffered burns to her body. However, his case was the most serious. “I suffered a lot of injuries, had an open fracture of the femur and had to be rushed through. From the waist down I hurt myself all over,” he said.

Michael’s attorney Howard Manning flies to Mexico City to take a deposition from Michael for a copyright infringement lawsuit brought by three songwriters claiming “Thriller”, “The Girl Is Mine” & “We Are The World” were stolen from them… The three hour long deposition is video taped and leaked later to the press.

November 9 : Elizabeth Taylor &  Larry Fortensky fly to Mexico City to support Michael. Dr Klein & Debbie Rowe also arrive to show their support.

Debbie Row said she told MJ in Mexico City that he had a problem with drugs. “I said you’re taking too much, you can’t take this forever.”Rowe said MJ was supposed to go to Puerto Rico after Mexico City, but never made it. “He was a hot mess, Rowe said when she saw him in Mexico City. He was depressed, he had taken something, I don’t know what he had taken or he had gotten it from, Rowe recalled. He was on something, that he was taking something. I thought he was back on Demerol, Rowe said. I walked into the room, his suites were never a mess. The suite was a mess. He wasn’t kept, he was always kept. He wasn’t making eye contact, he wasn’t speaking, he didn’t make sense when he did and he said was having problem with his scalp again. We got in a fight, Rowe said. “I’m hot headed, I went off on him about Forecast.” I was angry that Forecast had intercepted Metzger, that Forecast had undermined everything that was done.

During the TV show Devil’s Advocate, LaToya responds to MJ fans : “I defend Michael. I stand up for him so much” but later she says : “if he was here, he would be very proud because he knows what I CAN say and I have not spoken out. I think I’m being very very kind.”.

November 10 : Second day of Michael’s deposition in Mexico in the copyright infringement lawsuit. The deposition is videtaped and later leaked to the press.

November 11 : Last concert of the Dangerous World Tour at the Estadio Azteca in Mexico City, Mexico.

Michael requests the Western Friends of Hebrew University to withdraw his name as recipient of their “Scopus Laureate Award”, the ceremony of which is scheduled for January 29, 1994, while he is recovering from his addiction to prescription medication.

November 19 : Michael’s longtime personal assistant Norma Staikos quits her job and leaves the US for Greece. She is replaced by Evvy Tavasci (who will remain Michael’s PA until his death in 2009 and later work for his Estate).

Elton John helps Michael to find a better rehab facility at a private estate oustide London, the home of his manager John Reid.

November 23 : “Dangerous: The Short Films” is released on VHS.

November 24 : Janet kicks off the “Janet World Tour” at the Riverfront Coliseum in Cincinnati, Ohio. Early in her performance she asks her audience to bow their heads and say a silent prayer “for my brother Michael”.

The administration of Michael’s music catalogue ATV moves from MCA Music to EMI Music Publishing.

Los Angeles Superior Court judge, David Rothman sets March 21, 1994, as the date for the civil suit against Michael to begin, denying a request from Michael’s attorneys to delay the proceddings until the criminal investigation is completed.

November 29 : Michael is on the cover of People magazine.

December 1 : Meeting of Michael’s team at Elizabeth Taylor’s house in Bel Air. Johnnie Cochran is hired.

“Gone Too Soon” is released as the ninth and final single from the Dangerous album. Following its release—on World AIDS Day of 1993—”Gone Too Soon” became a moderate chart success in several countries: France, Germany, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Switzerland and the UK. The song was released as a cassette single in the US  and became a hit in Zimbabwe, where it charted at number 3. “Gone Too Soon” was promoted with a music video directed by Bill DiCicco, which showed footage of Jackson and White together, as well as scenes from the latter’s funeral.

December 02 : Katherine and Jermaine appear on CNN’s Showbiz Today and Hard Copy to defend Michael and refute remarks made by five former Hayvenhurst security guards.

December 06 : Michael is on the cover of Jet magazine.

December 08 : LaToya shocks the world by holding a midnight press conference in Tel Aviv, Istrael where she says that she “can no longer be a silent collaborator” to Michael’s ‘crimes against young innocent victims”. Her husband and manager Jack Gordon is by her side.

The Jackson family reacts immediately and holds a press conference at Hayvenhurst to refute LaToya’s claims. Katherine, Joe, Jermaine, Jackie, Tito & Randy tell CNN that LaToya has been brainwashed by her “money hungry” husband Jack Gordon.

Frank & Eddie visit Michael at his rehab center near London

December 09 : In a pre recorded interview from Israel on US Today Show, LaToya tells Katie Couric that she believes Michael is a child molester because Katherine showed her checks in the 80’s at Hayvenhurst. She also claims that Katherine called Michael “a damn faggot”.

The same day, LaToya gives an interviews to Howard Stern on the phone : “It’s not that I knew for sure because I had never seen him in the act”.

December 10 : Michael leaves London and returns home to Neverland with Frank & Eddie.

December 11 : Margaret Maldonado leaves Jermaine & Hayvenhurst with Jeremy & Jourdyn

December 14 : At Hayvenhurst, Katherine, Joe, Rebbie, Tito & Jermaine give an interview to Bev Smith on “The Jacksons: For the Record” special on BET.

December 15 : Blanca Francia, Michael’s former personal maid gives a deposition in the civil lawsuit and sell her story to tabloid TV show Hard Copy claiming that her son Jason was a victim of Michael when he was 10.

December 20 : Attorney Johnnie Cochran joins Michael’s legal team with Howard Weitzman. Cochran replaces Bert Fields.

Los Angeles Police Department and Santa Barbara Department go to Neverland with a search warrant. They take photographs of Michael’s body including his penis.

December 22 : New York Times : “Jackson aides confirmed the resignation of Bertram Fields, one of Hollywood’s top lawyers, and Anthony Pellicano, Mr. Jackson’s private investigator, after Daily Variety reported the departures. The Jackson camp, including the star’s mother, Katherine, had recently criticized Mr. Jackson’s advisers for their handling of the child molestation accusations against the entertainer. Mr. Fields, through an aide, denied that he and Mr. Pellicano had been dismissed. The 35-year-old Mr. Jackson faces criminal investigations in Los Angeles and Santa Barbara Counties into accusations that he sexually molested a 12-year-old boy in 1992. No charges have been filed against Mr. Jackson, who has denied the accusations. The investigations are expected to be concluded early next year. Jackson to Make Statement More pressing, Mr. Jackson faces a civil suit by the boy, who is now 13. The suit, which is expected to come to trial in March in Los Angeles Superior Court, accuses Mr. Jackson of specific sex acts with the boy and seeks unspecified damages”.

Live from Neverland and around the world, Michael makes a 4 minutes statement where he claims his innocence and reveals that earlier this week he was forced by the LAPD and SBPD to submit to a photo session of his body and genitals.

LaToya is a guest on Spanish TV Show ¡Hola Raffaella! where she once again accuses Michael.

December 24/25 : Michael celebrates Christmas at Neverland with the Cascio family. A woman dressed up as Mother Goose reads nursery rhymes and sings as they drink tea and eat cookies around the fire.

December 28 : Concert promoter Marcel Avram files a $20 million breach of contract against Michael claiming Michael’s true condition was concealed on signing the contracts for the Dangerous Tour.

December 30 : Michael appears in public for the first time since returning home at the Treasure Island complex in Las Vegas with friends Steve Wynn and Michael Milken.

December 31 : Michael attends a Barbara Streisand’s concert at the MGM Grand Garden in Las Vegas with friend Mike Milken. Michael & Barbare pose for a picture together backstage.
