January : During a TV interview in which she once again accuses Michael, LaToya leaves the studio upset and angry after the journalist claimed she is being told what to say in her earphone.
Late January : After the Hayvenhurst estate was damaged by the Northridge earthquake. Katherine, Joseph, Alejandra, Randy, Genevieve, Randy Jr, Jermaine and Lea Bongo move to a a mansion in Beverly Park during renovations. Michael pays for the renovations and the rented mansion (40 000 dollars a month).
February 18 : LaToya tapes an interview with Geraldo regarding the Jackson Family Honors. LaToya says that Johnnie Cochran threatened her career and says that Michael settled to silence Jordy. Jackson family friend Florence Anthony defends Michael on the same show.
February 21 : LaToya is a guest on “La Toya Jackson strikes back”, a special episode of Geraldo. She once again accuses Michael : “When he says that he is innocent. I know that he isn’t. I believe something has been going on”.
February 27 : LaToya gives another TV interview from Las Vegas to E to explains why she refused to appear on The Jackson Family Honors TV Special.
March : LaToya films an erotic video for Playboy.
It is reported in various newspapers that LaToya is preparing an album of country music. Tommy Martin is recruited as producer of the album by Jack Gordon. Recording sessions for the album takes place from March 20–27, 1994 at Creative Recording Studios in Nashville. The album is recorded with a live band and a team of three backing vocalists.
April 6 : LaToya is one of the very first celebrities to have a Celebrity Centerfold video for Playboy. She also releases a step aerobics exercise video, Step-Up Workout and a country album titled “From Nashville To You“.
April 12 : LaToya is a guest on Geraldo.
May 26 : Michael & Lisa Marie secretly get married in a 12 minutes ceremony only attended by Eva Darling & Thomas Keough!
July : The album “From Nashville to You” is released by Mar-Gor Records, a label founded by Tommy Martin and Jack Gordon.
July 25 : LaToya visits the Video Software Dealers Association Convention in Las Vegas, Nevada.
August 10 : LaToya is a guest on Howard Stern in NYC.
August 11 : LaToya does an In Store Signing of her First Ever Erotic Video at RKO in New York City.
LaToya is a guest on Geraldo promoting her new album “From Nashville to You”. She sings “Crazy” and gets praised for singing live with amazing vocals. During the interview, LaToya tells Jack gordon that she wants a divorce : “I’d like for you to leave”.
August 12 : LaToya is a guest on Late Night With Conan O’Brien in NYC.
August 27 : Dee Dee Jackson (Tito’s ex wife and mother of the 3T) is found dead in her swimming pool by her boyfriend Donald Bohana. The Jackson family gathers at Hayvenhurst to support Tito and his kids the 3T. A few days letter, the whole family (except LaToya) attends Dee Dee’s funerals.
